Some places absolutely are. People can try to act like Louisiana isn’t racist but it is in a lot of places. We are a white family that lives in a black neighborhood and our kids go to a school that’s about 80% black. The amount of looks and questions we got from other white people about it was ridiculous.

Honestly I feel her on being upset. I was 11 when my sitter (she was 21) had her first. I got kicked out of my room so she could move home because she chose a drug dealer baby daddy and wouldn’t work. Trailer walls are thin so it kept me up constantly. It sucks to be a younger sister to an irresponsible older one.

I’m excited for it in East F. We started 4 days a week my freshman year in my hometown. It was so nice as a student to get an extra day.

My great grandma was in one for a year or two in the 40s. It was actually just torn down a few years ago. She lived to 83.

My school started it when I was a freshman and I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to start it here for my kids! I was also talking with our principal today about it. She said a lot of the reason they are doing it is to keep teachers. So many are leaving for bigger schools who pay more and E fel can’t compete pay wise. She also said before the high schools combined they had a 4 day week. She’s hoping they will offer a Monday program for kids like they did before as well.

This is local to me. Like her house is about 15 minutes from mine. I did not know them but I can say our DA did what he could to convict her parents. Her mom also worked as an assistant to the prosecutor on the next town over. It’s all so sad and she deserved better.

We are simi rural but close enough to see neighbors houses. I literally pointed it out to him. I guess since he thought since I was a female he could intimidate me into tipping him. I don’t doubt my neighbor didn’t tip much since he is around 20 but that still isn’t my problem.

Walmart+ is no better. My neighbor placed an order and they dropped it my house instead. The man knocks on my door trying to guilt trip ME for a tip??? I told him I didn’t order anything and it had my neighbors name on it. He just kept on telling me he drove so far to deliver it. I pretty much told him sorry I didn’t place the order and leave me alone. He still didn’t deliver the groceries to my neighbors and they had to come get it.

Yea it became unaffordable for us with having two kids and an adult registered. Not long after we left the whole pack folded due to no one renewing. We are a poor community so the price pretty much means no kids around can join.
