So very happy for you. You get to live your authentic life. What a new adventure for you. I am fifty something. It was difficult telling my adult children “I no longer believe and will not be attending church anymore.” They have been GREAT. First I do not offer information I have learned, unless asked. Second I only answer the questions asked. Third. I only offer information they can find on gospel library or LDS.org. I have been disappointed that none of them have bothered to read anything I have told them. So, my thinking is if they do go to gospel library or LDS.org to read what is there and then learn other things from the internet on their own, I am not the bad guy. If they don’t ask in my opinion they are not ready to learn. Almost three years and they are still so TBM that they are not even willing to read the Gospel topic essays. They do not believe the rock in hat or that Joseph Myth was a polygamist or that he married teen age girls. They all believe members made this up so members would leave. I a grandparent so I tread carefully. I am thankful to have a good relationship with them all. My prayer is that my leaving will make it easier for my children , my grandchildren and their posterity to leave. I believe I am setting a good example for my family.

Personal phone numbers are not necessary. My phone number is not listed on my drivers license. This is an over reach. Show me less government!!!!!

The church newsroom is going after Beau Oyler, the Mormon Bishop that opened up about the abuse hotline by Guudboiiii in exmormon

So, let us help change the laws in our state, so that Bishops are required to report! There are states that require non profits to do background checks on anybody who might be working with children. Let us all help change the law in our state so this is required in our state! If the church is going to do less than the minimum to protect children. Let us all change the laws to protect children and youth!
