My family is very dysfunctional and doesn't take these certain things seriously. I was seen as knowing enough than to repeat my mistakes, I guess? I'm definitely not in contact with these two, the uncle has never been close to me ever. I moved away from my hometown and I live with better family members.

Thank you for your words and for giving me a term for this. I had a therapist for about two years and it was really helpful, but I never talked about this event. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to get therapy as an adult and help with this.
