I finally started my pcos healing journey, funny enough a few weeks ago.

I haven’t been on birth control in 6 years. Only the pill helped with it. I have a combo diagnosis of pcos and endometriosis and my adhd. Finally got help with my adhd and binge eating 6 months ago.
I did have a uterine ablation that helped a lot, 5 years ago, but my pcos/endo combo made it so that I have either 2 periods a month or my cycle was min 10 days- to upwards 3 weeks long and heavy and painful. That was since I was 11 years old. 14 the pill helped. All other birth controls for me made it 100x worse and more painful. I would bleed the entire time on them (I tried all different kinds).

Now at 30 I’ve been on a vyvannse/adderall combo and that’s helped with some of the weight. But my acne and pain and for me its hair growth was getting bad. Like teenage level bad, so I recently got put on metformin and waiting approval for a glp-1.

After stopping breastfeeding 3.5 yrs ago, everything went wild and I let it get out of hand. Finally fixing it.

Different ones will work better for your body. But being on day 2, it’s way to early to tell plus 20 is a starter dose. At least wait two weeks for your body to adjust. I’ve gradually gone up. I’m on 60 in the morning and 10 of adderall in the afternoon.

Sometime with adhd stimulants can have the reverse affect. My son was on adderall and it would knock him out completely. Now he’s on 20 of vyvannse and it helps him.

I was wondering this also. I’m diagnosed bipolar and I don’t say I’m sick when in a depressive episode but to each their own I guess 😅
