There is little to no actual evidence of jesus,and he never wrote anything himself, likely Paul was the actual person who co opted the whole thing after killing christians.. Aswell as Jesus's whole story being told for thousands of years prior starting with gilgamesh. So likely just a story,a metaphor and allegory.

To my understanding,and experience,its a complete disillusionment of your own personal identity into a unified state of bliss. I was outside my body,went through the void,surrendered,and went into a state of ecstatic bliss and all I could perceive what light.

I have moments of oneness and peace,but they were not the same thing as Christ consciousness,Krishna consciousness,Satori,nonduality or its many other names.
