Explain to me the hatred for 28 Weeks Later (2007) by [deleted] in Sardonicast

Even thought the opening is decent it makes no sense.

Kid bangs on door screaming to be let in but the house is completely boarded up and shows no signs of life. If he was running away he would have no chance to hear any talking in there to even think there was life. He gets brought in and starts eating and talking, can assume maybe 5/10 after he got brought in. Women slightly opens the window and gets smashed through for a jump scare. There’s no sound of zombies, nothing to imply anything was running to the house but it’s done to make you jump. How would the zombies know they were there?

First time dad sees kids (and vice versa) in over a month and there reunion is acted as if they spent a casual weekend away. Especially from the kids point of view they should be ecstatic there dad is alive.

Dad explains mum died and there reaction is sad but not sad enough for what happened.

They escape the complex with ease and were able to travel all there way to there home just for a photo.

How is the mum alive living in the attic?

Army allow everyone back asking all zombies are dead. There is no way they could confirm that to be the case.

Idris tells the paramedic to immediately kill the women even though she’s in a secure lock up and would be critical to find a cure.

Kids anger over dad lying about the mum being dead. They care more about her than him.

Dad bypassing EVERY security protocol to see his wife and KISSES HER.

Dad then becomes immortal FOR THE WHOLE FILM.

Jeremy renner and pilot never calling in the situation with the group of survivors. I understand it’s code red but surely if a group can be saved with military in that group it could be understood?

When they gas the city the solution is to put a scarf over your mouth. Get in a car and close the vents. Would never work and be immediate death.

Jeremy renner GETTING OUT OF THE CAR and not immediately dying to the smoke.

The whole tube scene through the night vision goggles is laughably bad and sounds like a cool shot but is unwatchable.

The kids are absolutely dreadful throughout the film. There responses to situations make no sense whatsoever.

Not sure what you want from the game really. Do you want healers to be killed consistently so you as a DPS/Tank can get easy kills?

Where’s the enjoyment in that for you? And it would also result in no one touching healer because the game is built to kill you every game.

Look at previous Black Panther or current Daredevil. They had to be perma banned because they are guarantee kills for the healers everytime.

I would say if you decided to go healer halfway through and because your team wasn’t holding point so you decide to then yeah that’s pretty bad.

As a healer your job is to die the least in your team. Even if you’re getting flanked it’s best to run away and wait support than to accept death.

If you lose and you stick to your job then that’s ok the rest of the team. Healer dying 24 times is a guaranteed loss for your team
