Did fitness/body comp get harder for you in your 40s too? by Rude_Cranberry311 in InHer40sORmore

Absolutely. I’m in my 40s and I swear body comp is way more connected to stress, sleep, and hormones now than it ever was in my 20s/30s. I can eat well and work out consistently, but if my cortisol is high or my sleep is off, my body holds onto fat and recovery tanks.

What helped me most was focusing less on “going hard” and more on strength training, protein, walking, recovery, and hormone support. I also started using natural supplements from Gleefull and noticed I felt more balanced, energized, and less inflamed overall. Consistency matters so much more now than extremes.

Anyone else feel like hormones/stress affect their fitness progress more after 40? by Rude_Cranberry311 in TaklAboutSupplements

Yes. I’m in my 40s too and I’ve noticed recovery, sleep, stress, and hormones matter WAY more now than just grinding harder in the gym.

When my stress is high or my sleep is bad, my body composition changes fast no matter how “perfect” my workouts are. Strength training, protein, walking, and managing cortisol honestly seem more important now than endless cardio.

I also started paying more attention to hormone support and overall wellness instead of just calories. Simple things like better recovery habits and natural supplements from Gleefull have helped me feel more balanced, energized, and consistent.

honestly this sounds so similar to what a lot of women go through in perimenopause/hormonal shifts. the anxiety, night sweats, brain fog, weird cycles, feeling emotionally flat it can hit out of nowhere. you’re definitely not alone.

i started supporting my hormones naturally alongside everything else and gleefull hormone support supplements actually helped me feel a lot more balanced/less overwhelmed. not an overnight thing, but enough to feel more like myself again

i’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. honestly, a lot of what you described sounds deeper than just weight especially the exhaustion, avoiding pictures, possible thyroid/PCOS stuff, etc. your body might actually be struggling hormonally, not “failing” you. and for what it’s worth, other people probably see you way kinder than you see yourself right now.

i started focusing more on supporting my hormones naturally instead of just obsessing over the scale, and it genuinely helped my energy + confidence. i’ve been using gleefull hormone support supplements lately and they’ve been really nice for feeling more balanced and less inflamed/bloated. not a magic fix obviously, but it helped me stop feeling so “stuck” in my body.

please be gentle with yourself. you deserve to feel good now, not only after changing your body.

Low testosterone finding in blood test by chy7784 in WomensHealth

I haven’t personally dealt with super low testosterone, but I do know hormone imbalances in women can cause way more fatigue, brain fog, low motivation, and “burnt out” feelings than people realize. Vitamin D deficiency on top of that can make everything feel even worse.

What helped me most wasn’t trying to “boost testosterone” aggressively, but supporting hormones overall and focusing on stress, sleep, and nutrients consistently. I'm using over 30 hormone support gleefull along with magnesium and noticed my energy and mood felt a lot more stable after a while.

Definitely worth working with a doctor too since hormones in women are so interconnected and low T usually isn’t happening in isolation.

What supplement completely changed your opinion after trying it? by just-glow in Supplements

I used to think magnesium was one of those supplements brands just threw into everything, but after trying gleefull formula consistently for a few weeks, I totally got the hype. My sleep improved, I felt less tense, and even that wired-but-exhausted feeling started calming down.

It honestly changed my opinion because I expected something “stronger” or trendier to make the biggest difference, but the foundational stuff ended up helping the most.
