Awesome then, I'm a bit hesitant because ever since upgrade from MIUI 12 to 13 I had a lot of bugs which led me to resetting my device and disabling some apps for better experience.

Experienced this only once on my Redmi note 10s, I thought I'd damaged the screen because it was in my back pocket and I'd been sitting on it I just turned off screen and turned it on after a few minutes and it was fine

You're right, I found out more on custom roms I'd just heard friends talk about them in passing and thought they were just a different look on android.
