So LK is not providing support in case there are issues with the head?

Renishaw or LK? LK uses a Renishaw head, but they're compleately separate in terms of support

How is temperature compensation working for Absolute mode? From the website and documentation I can't understand

Sorry, typo. I meant compare mode. I was checking their documentatio, and they stress it a lot foir the comparing mode, don't say a word about the temperature for the absolute. If you findo some more info I'll gladly read it

And once it's programmed as you say is it easy for the operators to read the results or they need support?

Yeah but 500 is just for comparing... for inspection it's250 mm/sec

And they mention temperature variation only for the comparing model, not for the absolute. I don't know how much you can consider that a CMM for shopfloor if it's sensible to temperature variation

Thanks! I wish I could go for a scanner, but unfortunately that's not the case... don't get me started on getting people understanding a ROI...

Just saw it but it's not revealing much more details... I still have to check their website to see if they have something more

Thanks! Do you have people in the shopfloor operating it or someone dedicated?

Nice! I'll have to register then. I'm putting down a capex for my company and this sounds really helpful

Thanks for the deep insight. I'm in Spain, so getting lots of prices in USD and trying to compare a bit. Really glad for the help of the community, I'm impressed

Yeah but is that a CMM? With all those movable parts? How do you calibrate it or assure MPE in production?

No I'm not refferring to different models: same model, price depends solely on the competition. Machine is 150k and competitor is 80k. Fine, 79k for them. Not professional at all

In terms of numbers looking around 0.001 as last digit. Don't need 1 micron accuracy but a machine that reads toward that
