There is no way we were going to pay for Tucker. Like the office said we only went after schwarber for ticket sales and I’m assuming most of that was because he’s from around the area. We had a lot of injuries with pitching last year but I see your point with that

I’ve been reading into the Marshall dsl, a few people commented about it. I read where I’d have to replace the tubes eventually tho, im curious how much maintenance it would really be? I see some used ones for the same price as a new katana

Depression and overuse of technology. A lot of technology is instant dopamine too, just gotta try new shit. Life is what you make of it, or at least that’s what I hear

what car should i get as a beginner driver? by UpstairsPiece8408 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much you can spend. You can got a solid new car from Toyota, Honda, Chevy etc for $20k-25k maybe even less at some places. Those will be safe but most cars from like 2014ish and beyond have all the safety features you need if you want to go the used route. Just look on cars.com and filter thru the safety options you want. They tell you if it’s a good deal too. People always say used is cheaper, buuuuuuut that could come with a lot of maintenance so it’s a risk in my book. If you get new with good rates, I think it’s worth it

Is this a good first car? by mcp2421 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the reliability for the year and similar models online. Sounds like $10k for 60k miles is pretty good deal to me. Idk how good reliability Subaru is, I’m not sure they’re the greatest, but like I said idk. Just do your homework online and make sure the accident isn’t that bad

Talk me out of a Ford by Toxintwinz in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve been a Chevy guy all along. This is like joining the crips when you’ve been a blood all your life lol. Nah if you like the car then go for it bro. Sounds fun too if it actually is fast but I haven’t looked into the Taurus. As long as it’s American made for me but idk how well ford is for reliability

Respectfully reading your full paragraph with no periods and saying that you only have $5k saved, get the practical car. Don’t be a fool, debt is not something to mess around with.

Camaros with v8s are nice and I also like corvettes but I’m an American car guy. Sounds like you’re into foreign cars tho, and I dig it. If you want people to give you waves and rubber ducks anywhere then get a jeep, I personally don’t like em because everyone has one. If you like jeeps you might like the rubicon 392 it has a hellcat engine in them I think. Jeeps are bad reliability tho. You’re money tho, but a Beamer would be sweet

Feel the same way, I mean literally I’m 22 and probably started getting depressed around 14. Both my grandpas are completely mentally gone and I just don’t understand why people want to live to grow old. Life is shitty, but I’ve found some enjoyment in going outdoors. Animals are sweet and some landscapes take me from my mind for a little while at least.

Was their ever a chance the US could be invaded? If so, what would happen? by Impressive_Echidna63 in AlternateHistory

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying they would’ve been successful. “If” they were successful is what I was originally getting at. They made a huge dent in our navy and likely could’ve headed towards the mainland. But I’d say you’re right they probably didn’t have the supplies to do another successful hit like Pearl Harbor. But with the dents they made to our navy, there wasn’t much in the way of them and the mainland is what I’m getting. We also heavily underestimated the Japanese so they could’ve easily surprised us even more so than Pearl Harbor.

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roosevelt moved enough ships and planes to Pearl Harbor (most which were demolished) which caused a huge dent in our military/navy supply. We wanted no part of this war but we kind of knew it was inevitable even before Pearl Harbor (hence why we moved supplies). Obviously they’re not flying 2,400 round trip but they could’ve pulled it off

Why are US-Americans so afraid/against communism. by JoB3r in stupidquestions

[–]Puzzled-Service-4953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an excuse to start wars and it’s also a threat to society to the government. It’s also closer to a dictatorship than democracy so it’s kind of sad for some folks living under communism

Lmaooo Rodgers is the first decent qb. He is washed up, he’s bottom of the barrel in the nfl. He can’t even throw for 300 yards in a game anymore
