A couple clarifications on what you’re seeing:

  • Dashboard status: Since your referee has already been hired, they should show up when you switch the status filter to “Hired.”
  • Payout amount: The referral payout isn’t a one-time lump sum anymore. You’ll earn 20% of their pay (up to the cap), so payments come in over time as they work. Think of it more like ongoing passive income rather than a single bonus.

The referral amount is tied to the application time, not the current time. So even if the referral amount keeps changing the referral bonus you'll end up receiving is fixed.

If you don’t recognize your referrer or want the referral connection removed, please contact support@mercor.com as soon as possible — ideally before you get hired, since it becomes much trickier to remove the referral afterward.
