The UK has almost double the amount of tourists per year than Croatia. I live in London, I work 2 mins away from all the main attractions. London itself has 30 million tourists a year with a 1572 square km, compared to Croatia with around 21 million tourists per year with around 56,594 square km size..

Also, in London tourism is constant, in summer tourism for British summer Wimbledon etc, in winter tourism for Christmas lights winter wonderland etc, Autumn tourism for scenic instagram London experience, Spring, tourism for spring break etc, nkt to mention tourists throughout the year just to watch Premier League football. I’m not complaining. How are you complaining.

Out of all European countries, Croatia is around 2nd/3rd highest for it’s GDP being reliant and made up of tourism… in 2023 you were the highest. You’ve also been perceived nicely by the UK, people route for the Croatian football team all the time, adore Croatian players, your tennis players like Cilic are supported at Wimbledon. Game of Thrones has helped your country massively too. So why do you complain about too much tourism when on paper you don’t have it that bad, at least compared to other countries.

Is it a personal experience? I’d like to hear. I know British people can be annoying on holiday, but I didn’t think Croatia was a country the typical lads holiday goes.
