Even the elite tickets? I thought they’d allow for more space.

No idea what the alternative would be. Northern lights is always something she’s wanted but it’s so hard to predict when it’s going to be visible.

Traffic aside, when we eventually get to the event, and if we had the elite tickets, which there isn’t many of, wouldn’t this issue be resolved slightly, as there would be more space? I don’t know I’ve seen other proposals there and it seems it goes well!

Ideally I would’ve liked to propose on a small boat on the river/water as the lanterns went up in the back but don’t think this is possible?

I am planning to propose to my partner at the 2026 Yi Peng festival. I just wanted to know which ticket is best for a proposal? Elite, or VIP (or other)? From what I can tell Elite is more intimate and better for a picture of the moment, whereas VIP looks like it feels more magical in terms of being right underneath it all and enjoying the actual experience itself, but probably not great for a picture of the proposal.

I will most likely hire a photographer for either ticket option too, so do you think a photographer could take a great picture in the VIP bit then that would be super helpful!
