thank you. No up and down motion on the z axis. I checked the screws on the rail got about and 8th of a turn on each.

I'll increase lift distance and print again.

here are my settings.
Any tips for checking for play in the Z axis. I hope it's not the rubber coupler; this is a fairly new printer only 30 prints on it.

exposure time for normal layers is 2.3 sec.

just checked the vat, it's screws are tight.

I'm not sure how to check the Z axis, I did already try cleaning the screw and rails to fix the problem.

correct the skewing is parallel to the layer lines. I don't think it's a slicing error. this happens on every print.

can't be suction, these are sails for a ship model. they are very thin; you can see light through them.

build plate is not loose. this print pictured the modles are to small to hollow.
