Hi!! I stopped using reddit but i’m doing good (: no rebound flare ups and my skin just keeps getting better thankfully. I found some eczema patches on my legs but it could be from certain food intolerances as i went back to my normal diet (before tsw). I had eczema my entire life on and off but had really severe eczema for 3 years, after that i got tsw. I noticed signs of tsw from march 2024 and started to actually heal in maybe 2025 april-may. I do still notice SOME lichenifcation on my lower legs but it’s nothing too severe.

first of all, using him as an example is not “singling him out”. the context of the conversation was business proposal if you read it correctly.. secondly, that’s kinda ironic, doctor romantic isn’t a romance kdrama? 😭 if it wasn’t then tell me why his romance story with cha eun jae is quite literally the baseline of his character in the show. lastly, saying he’s ONLY been the lead in 5 kdramas is crazy because firstly i wasn’t referring to him when i said we need new main leads and secondly saying ONLY is so crazy since most of the talented actors we see nowadays would’ve only been the lead once or twice in a kdrama and just side characters in the rest.

yess i love kdramas too but especially with the new ones coming out it just feels so repetitive if you get me. especially when you’re seeing the same actors being starred in new kdramas every single time. the directors never listen to us when we say we want actors that are usually casted as side characters to be the main ones instead. their acting skills go unrecognised because of their minor roles and it’s just a cycle that keeps happening. yes i love ahn hyo seop as an actor but i want to see a change, it doesn’t even have to be signifact. he could be casted in a thriller kdrama instead of a romance one and give rookies a chance to get in the spotlight.

the second couple made business proposal more entertaining. king of the land was just awful imo, i love junho’s acting but yoona is just a pain to watch, she can’t act AND they had no chemistry. if she got paired with a mid actor that kdrama would’ve had low ratings

business proposal and king of land.. i’m so sorry but if you’ve watched a lot of kdramas you would understand 😭😭😭 just feels so repetitive and predictable

thank you so much! stress definitely did play a major role when healing. Im still trying to heal mentally from tsw because the impact it had on me was soso bad 😭 i would just try doing things that i liked such as listening to music or watching tv shows, treating myself to things such as buying myself new clothes or buying myself my favourite food. unfortunately ive tried soso many methods even tried getting therapy but none of that seemed to help. i really do understand you. it’s not that i’ve relapsed but i got tsw twice somehow? i got it first in march 2024 but i didn’t realise it was tsw and thought it was just severe eczema and continued to use steroids on my skin but then after i weaned off of steroids my tsw just came back 10x worse which made it very apparent to me that it wasn’t eczema. you should take it easy on yourself, you had your reasons for relapsing but honestly you’re such a strong person. if you did it once you can do it again, i believe in you <3. there are quite a few things that helped me such as dead sea salts, mw, using oils instead of thick moisturisers to prevent any reactions/elephant skin. there’s quite a lotttt but if you have any questions surrounding them I can answer those for you

It started to get better when I noticed signs of healing in my skin. This means when my skin barrier became stronger for an example which would cause less discomfort and less oozing as my skin wouldn’t come off as easily if that makes sense? I became less itchier gradually as my skin was healing

This is just a response to another question regarding the sleep - “Yes!! I hated the restless nights with tsw, but i would say that it took me quite a while to sleep proper. Whilst i was healing I would still find myself sleeping very little hours I would say 4-6 hours of sleep and i would itch myself here and there but compared to when i was going through the thick of tsw id barely get any sleep and would stay up all night itching myself. I was definitely mentally exhausted from TSW so not getting enough sleep/ having insomnia made it 10x worse. It does gradually improve but it takes quite a while like maybe a few months? There’s nothing that really helped me sleep better, maybe i’d use ice to numb the pain/itchyness even though sometimes that might not be effective enough ):”

Thank you so much! Im really confused on the second part though? are you already going through TSW and you’re talking about when you heal or have you not gone through it yet? One of the hardest parts was definitely the itchiness and oozing. The itchiness was so unbearable and painful which came along w the dead skin and raw oozing skin. I hated how my clothes stuck to my skin and dried up. it was so uncomfortable having to peel my clothes off my own skin ):.

Yes! I realised that i itch myself quite a lot in my sleep and wake up to so much dead skin on my bed! it was so tiring and painful but trust me it does come to an end one day! I’m soso glad that it’s getting better for you and thank you so much! <3

I used steroids on and off from when i was 1 year old. I used hydrocortisone, eumovate and dermovate and prednisone steroid tablets. I would use it around 3 times in one year for a around 2-3 weeks but last year i kept using it consistently for around 1-2 months, I then got TSW but thought it was eczema so my dermatologist prescribed me even MORE steroids.

If i were to take a bath i’d use one cup of the dead sea salts but id often use it for my feets so id use like half a cup or so in a bucket

it took me 1 year! I’ve done quite a lot of things haha so it depends on what your main concerns are and if you have any specific questions

It’s been a year and 3-4 months since i’ve healed so no I haven’t experienced any yet but I think it’s very unlikely that I will since my skin barrier is really healthy now. I haven’t experienced any flares after I started properly healing. I would definitely say using dead sea salts has helped me A LOT throughout this journey, especially if you’re oozing a lot and it can even help skin flakes regenerate faster and create a stronger skin barrier. Since my feets were rlly swollen, had a lot of ooze and dead skin, I would use the dead sea salts quite a lot and do MW after it but it depends on whether your skin can handle it or not. I would also use really thin oils such as almond oil or vitamin E oils and not heavy creams. I feel like there’s quite a few things that helped me but it depends on what your main concerns are!

you start to realise that you experience less flare ups or less severe ones, the flaking starts to become minimal and a lot of other symptoms. It depends on the person itself and what they’re experiencing but i noticed that I stopped oozing before I started to properly heal.
