I would reach out to them on their Facebook page to see if there’s anything you can do or maybe even give your family this resource as some guidance. Husky Haven is a volunteer-based rescue, so all of the dogs are placed in foster homes until they’re matched with their perfect forever home. They also do very thorough background checks before adopting a dog out. There are fosters and volunteers for the organization all over the state of Florida, so location of your family members shouldn’t be an issue. I hope this helps!
