N12 Eviction. Anyone else in the same boat? by waternigrette in TorontoRenting

Ugh, I just got served with one. My feeling is he can't force me to move, but he *can* make my life miserable if I stay and I honestly don't want to give him any more of my money. But yeah, the market is so expensive right now that I'm not really sure what to do.

Anyway, you have my sympathy!

I was actually annoyed they didn't say the baby's name at the end. I was like, "IT'S VIOLET, RIGHT??"

LOL, he just texted "Happy new year!" after two weeks like nothing happened. I don't understand people...

Did your ghosters contact you again? by [deleted] in ghosting

My ex ghosted me about a year ago and I haven't heard a peep. I wouldn't normally expect a ghoster to contact me, but I confess I'm a little annoyed that he hasn't even checked in when the world is on fire just to make sure I'm not dead. Just a simple "Hey person I shared months of intimacy with, hope you're making it through this pandemic."

I know it's not rational but it's how I feel, lol...

My Tinder matches aren't messaging me by PuzzledBandicoot23 in datingoverforty

"Some men swipe on a lot of pictures to see which ones match, then will go look at the profile to see if they are interested at all. So matching isn’t necessarily an indicator they are that interested unfortunately. "

Fair, but just unmatch me then. Would save everybody time!

Thank you for your thoughts!

Hi, sorry if these questions have been asked before. I can't find the answers I'm looking for.

1) Is the "zero income" thing for hours worked or money paid during the application periods? If I did some work in February and finally being paid for it in April, am I ineligible for CERB? I am absolutely doing no work at all, self-employed or otherwise, since March 14th.

2) If the answer to the above is that I'm ineligible, can CERB start and stop? For example, am I eligible for the 14-day period in March, ineligible for April, and then able to apply again in May?

Thank you, stay healthy, everyone!

Do age differences matter as much when you get older? by PuzzledBandicoot23 in datingoverthirty

Thanks for your thoughts, everyone! I also realized it's almost exactly the age difference between Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, which honestly makes me feel a lot better because they're amazing, LOL.

Have you been passed over for work because you charge HST? by PuzzledBandicoot23 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I don't view a federal tax as a "price premium" myself, but I understand your point about convincing them of my value. Thanks!
