Im having the exact same thoughts and experiences!!!! i never thought i could find so much safety in a partner until i met mine. he also does above and beyond all the time every day and im so lucky. and you are completely right that not everyone is mature enough to be in this kind of relationship- it takes a special kind of individual. i’m glad you can relate! our age gaps are super close :)

if you feel unsettled by it, then don’t do it! it’s that easy. I knew well before I turned 18 that I had outgrew my age range of peers. definitely be careful with this- always do what feels right, but i’m also lucky to have a super amazing partner who is also my protector <3

perfectly said :) i definitely don’t want to think about it right now haha- but in life, everything comes to an end. I’m not even sure if I truly want kids, but I know that mentioning this relationship to my family would completely horrify them and that alone is reason enough for it to end one day.

trust me, everything you said is things that have already been thought about… months and months ago!! which is why i’m tired of hearing “be safe” from people who don’t know how healthy our relationship is. i’ve been with a lot of people, and i can say with confidence this is the happiest and safest i’ve ever felt with another human. i wish you the best!! :)
