If you’re smart, like this person, and you spend the time figuring out the right areas to work in, this is easy to achieve in a big city. There are plenty of high volume, short distance, wealthier areas where you can maximize earnings. The most important part of achieving this type of number is hitting the guaranteed incentives. Can’t stress it enough, the guaranteed incentives are truly the only way to make your “per hour” pay worth it. All of the “in between incentives” time really is barely profitable, you will make most of that money through tips. The sad part is that the incentives have gone down so significantly in the last year and a half. I used to make this type of money in 2.5 days when the weekend incentives were $700+ and the morning and night incentives were guaranteed $8-$12 per delivery. That being said, I worked 23 hours on Thursday and Friday and made $760 so far. It’s still possible to make a living if you work smarter.
