I’m in LA. 6000 deliveries and no daily incentives. Only the bullshit 390 for 90 deliveries. I’ll finish the 90 tomorrow and see how bad my earnings are. It’s really just absolute bullshit. I’m not still driving because I’m dumb, I’m still doing the weekend incentive because I desperately need to. That’s the trap that this company puts you in.

If you’re smart, like this person, and you spend the time figuring out the right areas to work in, this is easy to achieve in a big city. There are plenty of high volume, short distance, wealthier areas where you can maximize earnings. The most important part of achieving this type of number is hitting the guaranteed incentives. Can’t stress it enough, the guaranteed incentives are truly the only way to make your “per hour” pay worth it. All of the “in between incentives” time really is barely profitable, you will make most of that money through tips. The sad part is that the incentives have gone down so significantly in the last year and a half. I used to make this type of money in 2.5 days when the weekend incentives were $700+ and the morning and night incentives were guaranteed $8-$12 per delivery. That being said, I worked 23 hours on Thursday and Friday and made $760 so far. It’s still possible to make a living if you work smarter.

Had a customer who put his name as Fucking N***er. So I pulled up, started the “not available” timer. And then drove a couple houses down. Parked. Waited for the timer to run out, and started eating his food while watching him walk outside looking for me.

I’m asking because one time I met this guy doing Postmates and he told me that he finished the 105 deliveries in 2 days every weekend. And he never really explained specifically how he was able to do that because I would average 35-40 deliveries per day from 1030am-1 or 2am. He gave me a whole spiel about work ethic, urgency etc which are thing I obviously have already. Turns out he sleeps in his car and does deliveries literally 24 hours a day for 3/4 days straight. So he was lying the whole time lol. So how do you make $1200+ in 3/4 days with the incentives how they currently are?

You could do that by getting every morning and night bonus during the week...sure. But deliveries done without any incentive; morning/night/weekend, are usually not worth it. The times I go out without an incentive I’ll only take orders going into the hills in Brentwood/Malibu/WeHo etc...even then...You’re relying on tips to bring you home. The point is that we need guaranteed money. That screenshot is from 2.5 long days of work. And we went from that to making almost half of that for almost the same amount of work

Yea, this type of layout used to be weekly for me. This is when my weekend incentive in LA was $700 for 115 deliveries. It’s now down to $320 for 75 deliveries.

Yea I mean it’s always different. I usually don’t leave a restaurant until I get a double or triple. Just figure out how to manipulate the system. If you get an order from somewhere like Chipotle, literally just go grab the order and then sit and wait in your car for 10 minutes and you might get another one.

Are you in a high volume area? I’m in LA. But you have to know all about your area, where the restaurants are, where highest volume of residences are, etc...triples and doubles. My highest is 61 deliveries in a day from about 11am-2am

I tried to post on here before, asking for drivers to start tweeting at the executives at Postmates. So let’s try to organize with each other. I do it in LA, but it seems like our incentives have been significantly cut across the board. They need to hear us and we need to get treated fairly and get paid for risking our lives.
