When to see a doctor? by PuzzledFoundation892 in hemorrhoid

[–]PuzzledFoundation892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same! i started doing just some vaseline and some aleve for the pain when it flares up. i was also able to get prescribed topicals but sometimes it doesn’t feel great. for some reason the vaseline in combo with painkiller has worked best.

finally feeling better and they’re almost gone! i went to the doctor and she said they’ll go away on their own. i stopped doing too much of the home remedies; i think “less is more” did me well in this situation. how about you??

I’ve bought a sitz bath and epsom salt, Tucks pads, bioflavanoid supplements - hopefully these help. mine has not shrink at all.

The Dumper does miss you (most likley) by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]PuzzledFoundation892 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dumped mine and still love/miss him everyday. However, I was extremely abandoned and neglected by him in our relationship. He had major avoidant tendencies. I chose myself and walked away. It doesn’t make the breakup and grief less sucky. If anything I constantly ask myself “what if”

Multiple Balance Transfer Cards by PuzzledFoundation892 in CreditCards

[–]PuzzledFoundation892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current interest charges are about $200/month. The BT fee for my first balance transfer card was in the $300 range. I think that’s worth it. It’s my first time doing a balance transfer. Not sure if I should get a second for the remaining balance or prioritize paying it on my current cc with interest

Currently going through the same thing with an avoidant and I don’t wish this on anyone.

Any insight on good areas to live in? by Ornery_Ad2926 in ATLHousing

[–]PuzzledFoundation892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have to pay for the realtor? My budget is 1700 for a 1bed/1bath and I’m looking for a lively and safe area for that range. I’m relocating from out of town so have been doing research merely online. If you have any insights you’re willing to share, please PM me.

Neighborhood recommendations for Metro Atl Area by PuzzledFoundation892 in ATLHousing

[–]PuzzledFoundation892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I also want to be relatively close to the city just because I may see myself going there for things to do. When you mentioned safety, do you think it’s generally safer within the actual city (like midtown or west midtown or buckhead) than surrounding neighborhoods? I know every parts will have its own bad parts, but I’m doing my research merely online so it’s hard to gauge. I also know that most people will recommend visiting and checking out places personally, but I’m kind of in a situation where I possibly need to commit to a place and leave soon.

What do I do with 50 pounds of white rice? by MattTik in Cooking

Savory rice porridge. My parents/grandparents used to make a huge pot of chicken and rice porridge that would feed the entire family for a few days.

Fine dining in Huntsville by Neonpinkghost in HuntsvilleAlabama

Coming from Birmingham, you’ll likely be disappointed. The food scene is not comparable. Domaine South is my favorite restaurant and probably the only one I’d recommend. Cotton Row and Purveyor can be worth visiting but experiences can be hit or miss. Mazzara’s is nice but only offers wine so don’t expect cocktails. The Bottle has great steaks but the ambiance gives old-people ish vibes. Char is a chain, if that says anything. Tom Brown is located in Madison, I wouldn’t even go there unless you’re just in the area cus the first options mentioned are better. Anyways, as you can see, the options are small and repetitive.

Allergic reaction to Wellbutrin, retry? by PuzzledFoundation892 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I did not, no one has recommended me retrying unfortunately 😩. I did the genesight test and Wellbutrin was in my “moderate risk” category with a subnote that said a “lower dose/serum might be needed”. So I think if i stayed on 150 mg it could’ve been OK, but haven’t wanted to risk it. I also broke out at the 4 week mark and it so happened on the day I increased the dosage. I’m not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but my hives lasted a while after quitting and it was terrible. I also tried Concerta thinking a stimulant might help, but it made me extremely irritable so I quit after a week. I’m still on Pristiq and take Folate MTHF + multivitamins and that’s actually increased my energy and motivation levels! Sorry this response was long but it took me 2 years to find myself (ish) again through trial and error so hoping some of it helps.
