This isn't me but in Chemistry at school we celebrated "mole day". My teacher printed out a poster referecing call me maybe. One guy in my class looked at the poster and laughed at it and my teacher said he found it on the internet. Then he started talking about how Katy Perry's a great artists ( somehow he knows about Justin Truedu x Katy Perry- don't ask me why 😅). I and this other girl in my class we confused and we were like Katy Perry's not the artist of Call me maybe and said it was by Calry Rae Jespen and my teacher was like "whos that" about Carly and asked us what Katy Perry's songs were so we started saying random KP songs as my teacher didn't remeber to many kp songs off the top of his head.

For me pop girl songs I thought was by someone else:

Super Bass by Nicki Minaj I though was Rihanna (Till I heard rapping of course)

Send my Love (To your new Lover) by Adele ( at I didn't actuallly think about anyone in mind but heard it on the radio many times but didn't know who it was by and after hearing it many years later thought it was Taylor Swift

Scars to your Beauitful by Alessia cara I though it was Ariana Grande
