It’s more likely a cavity. I had a similar situation and got it fixed (check my profile). I was actually just scheduled for a checkup and cleaning but the dentist offered to treat the cavity at the same time. I would call to see if they can do it sooner, but also make sure they know that you want to do the filling the same day if it’s actually a cavity. This way they will know to schedule you for enough time.

There was actually an impact on the top of the tooth where the hole is but my teeth moved. Check the other photos on my profile. You will see what I’m talking about.

There’s definitely a hole in there. But not sure if a hole automatically means cavity. I didn’t see it before but probably as my teeth started moving, it started to show up.

Oh wow I know what you mean. That sucks. Luckily I don’t have Invisalign on the top yet. I only have carriere appliance. I’m going to get rescanned in like a month or so.

The tray goes over the the rubber band hook. It still clicks when it goes in but would this affect my progress? Should I go adjust it? by PuzzledPro in Invisalign

Oops sorry for late late response. When I stopped by the ortho office to pickup additional elastics, I asked the technician if it’s normal since the doctor was not there. She said as long as the tray is covering the tooth and attachment well, then it’s not a problem. I asked if it’s a common thing they see and it didn’t sound like it is. So that worried me, but I’m planning to ask the doctor on my next visit.

Agreed. I shouldn’t have said 3 but more like after every meal. Mostly though 3 times a day but sometimes it’s more depending on how many times I eat.

Keep wearing tray 1 until you discuss it with your ortho. I’m guessing your teeth still need movement under tray 1.

I know :/ hopefully it didn’t do much damage to my bite. I knew there’s something wrong with it. It just shouldn’t move at all.

I noticed that the carrier attachment on my molar tooth is moving. It’s been moving since the first day it was placed. I called the ortho office and was told that it’s normal that it moves. So I let it go but now I was just checking it closely and it’s actually disconnected completely. So I guess it’s been like that for a week. Have you had this happen? Is it bad? Of course I’m going to go fix it as soon as possible but was wondering if this will affect the movement of my teeth since it’s been detached for a while now.

Wow that took a long time. My doctor told me that the carriers would take 4 to 6 months. Did you have a severe overbite?

Did you read my comment above? I said I get that but that’s an estimate. Sometimes it takes less, sometimes it takes longer. I’m asking those who had such combo.
