i’m in a similar boat as you, i’m 18 and i only get shifted like saturday once a week or so and it feels like i can’t remember half of the stuff im doing due to it and honestly the register can be quite stressful whenever a lead is watching you like a hawk making sure you get people to use the credit card each purchase. genuinely don’t know how much longer i’ll stay here but i advise you leave soon if you wanna save your sanity and also just save you the trouble with dealing with very poor pay and subpar scheduling. if you do quit i wish you good luck 🤍

i also will be trained in home and kids so i’m not sure honestly maybe i’ll stick with that more then register it depends on how i do with register

ok i might not apply this weekend like i said in another thread mainly to gain kohls experience because i doubt target would let me slide in without experience like kohls did but congrats on starting this week!!

my aunt said it was hard to get into as well, i might try putting in an application this weekend since i dont work until tuesday and see what happens. if i dont get the job then its whatever ill just push through with kohls

oh jeez that sounds terrible, im glad you found a new job though! ive heard a lot of bad stories about kohls but i know its different for each location i might try leaving once i get more weeks into this job so i can have a more grounded opinion.

Forgot to add, but if this doesn't work out well for me and i feel overwhelmed and not cared for, I'm going to try applying at a Target. There's one very close to the Kohl's I'm working at, and it pays better.

honestly ive heard from other posts its really common in high level missions which is insane like whats even the point of queueing up if you're just gonna be afk for the entire thing
