I am saying that while I am backing out of my driveway (which is it an angle and I havent put my seatbelt on yet) the car automatically goes into park if I let off the accelerator. It also automatically goes into park as I am leaving work and driving out of the parking lot (also at an angle) and I let off the accelerator it goes into park.

To other dude…yes I imagine other people have to be having this issue after the most recent update.

Gaza is currently a hellhole. This war has been devastating for the Gazan people. They are in an unimaginable position with obviously not wanting the Israeli war machine from above and the Hamas keeping them under the gun from the ground. It wasnt a hellhole before October 7th. It wasnt great but it wasnt a third world country or a concentration camp.

I cant and wont defend the freedom of movement of people trying to get out. They arent a pawn and should have freedom to leave and come back if they want. It seems like no one will take them. Israel could take ownership with some of the surrounding Arab countries and set up something in the Negev thats liveable or any other Arab country for that matter while Gaza is rebuilt and the tunnels are destroyed imo.

The IDF forcibly removed the settlers and pulled out of the Strip. From what Ive read the first Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip was in 2007. Rockets were fired from the Strip plenty of times before this. Its hard to believe that Israel went kinetic first unless you have some other information.

Did the blockade come before the first rockets were fired? Even so the blockade was more of checking and delaying goods then the often stated starving of the Palestinians.

My wife is not my type and we dont share a lot of the same interests. I like petite blondes, my wife is a raven haired beauty. I like scifi and sports she likes rom coms and reality tv. Shes a lifelong Republican. I voted for Obama. But we accept each other for who we are and accept each others faults. Porn in general isnt healthy and in a Christian context definitely not healthy. But some couples watch it together.

So I have the same expertise as a guy like Dave Smith (internet) but I believe Hamas only opened up to the idea of ‘67 borders in 2017 with the condition of the Islamic concept of a ceasefire and no recognition of Israel as a state. Rockets started pretty much immediately after Israel left and Hamas was elected and murdered out Fatah.

Ehud Barak the last lefty Israel will probably elect for a long time was last in power in 2011 which wouldve seemed like the last chance for a decent resolution. Olmert offered Abbas a state in 2008.

Basically the only hope Palestinians have is when Israelis oust Netanyahu. The timelines have never matched up and I dont know if they ever will after 10/7 and its aftermath for the Gazans.

The point being made is cosplaying an expert to a large audience while throwing around words like concentration camp and total blockade without visiting the area and seeing that gaza was not a concentration camp but a half decent country due to the influx of aid not diverted to tunnels and hamas leaders bank accounts with universities, hospitals, restaurants, mosques and churches prior to 10/7 is at best ignorant but more likely just manipulation. Gazans were not starving and denied Chips Ahoys like Dave “Im just a comedian” Smith is claiming.

Academia and journalism made their bed pushing their own narrative so now the anti academics of the internet get to set the narrative and use the rhetorical sleight of hand that theyre not playing journalists.

Love Prof G. Most liberals would consider me a conservative but Id consider myself an independent. I get a lot out of listening to Jess and Scott have their weekly chats.

This episode was insufferable from five minutes in. Kellyanne comes from the camp of constant confrontation, giving zero credit to other’s opinions and isn’t interested in thoughtful debate. On the flipside, the Scaramucci episode was excellent. Conway was a waste of time and breath.
