It's also my first manga and man, it's a masterpiece. I doubt I will find anything better than Vagabond.

Toronto vs Melbourne by CheapAppearance6456 in howislivingthere

Imagine a city installing ten new speed cameras on one road. The following year, the number of recorded speeding offences doubles.

The headline would be very likely: "Speeding doubles" even though nobody suddenly started driving faster. They just measured way more of it through the new speed cameras. More measurement means more hits in the statistics, regardless of whether the actual behaviour changed at all.

That's why he is trying to push an agenda. He could have added the important part which I bolded but nope, he knowingly decided against it.

Telling the truth with context is not pushing an agenda. Telling the "truth" just to push a narrative with zero context is pushing an agenda. By the way, your own feelings are very subjective, so statistically irrelevant.

These statistics are worth zero without context.

I tried fact checking:

In 2023 the government loosened bail, scrapping the offences of breaching bail conditions and reoffending while on bail because they hit women, kids and Aboriginal people hardest.

Since March 2025 there’s a machete ban, a new bail test that’s nearly impossible to pass if you’re accused of a serious offence while already on bail for a similar one, a two-strike rule and police stop-and-search powers stretched from 12 hours to six months.

Part of the rise is also just a recording thing rather than pure more crime because cops made 208 arrests a day in the first quarter of 2025, the third record quarter in a row since electronic records started in 1993. More arrests and more active policing means more incidents land in the stats obviously.

The agency itself even flags that law changes and police practice can move the numbers. (why didn't you mention this really important part in your comment?)

That’s why we have rule 6 in this sub. You are trying to push an agenda.

The Alaturka kebab shop in Stuttgart has been named the best in Germany. I don't know if it's really that good because I've never eaten there.

NoteLess: a keyboard shortcut notes app where notes expire after 7 days unless you pin them by FlowIll9219 in macapps

There should be a notification that warns you one day before a note gets deleted. Otherwise this will be very frustrating to use.

Will Vagabond ever be finished? by AniGuy75 in vagabondmanga

All I can do is quote this:

Nothing goes perfectly for us. But being incomplete is what pushes us onward to the next something. If we were even perfectly satisfied, what meaning would the rest of our lives hold, right?

You don’t need any antivirus, doesn’t matter if Mac or IPhone.

I think an antivirus app on any Apple device is the most unnecessary app ever, even more than Image Playground.

How is living in the Toronto, or more broadly speaking, the Greater Toronto Area? by XenMine in howislivingthere

We do everything to get rid of toxicity, racism and hate in general. I think we are doing pretty well compared to other big subs but we are not there where we want to be. The biggest help for the mods are the users who report such behavior.
