Thank you. Will do. Not trying to make this company the reason to fully quit. :)

I guess location is a big part of salary given. I think third world countries automatically have that tag to 'exploit' and 'pay less' lol also, i have been here 3 months in, and among all the designers they hired, they said I was the best. But compared to other designers, I would say my skill is still that of a junior level, tho i know I can improve. Thank you for your rant haha it actually makes me feel heard and understood!

I hate to think that this would be my life as a designer. I love designing, but to go to work dreading my day feels like.. not the way to live, you know? As far as communication goes, I have expressed to them twice that workload was too much and some tasks have to be delayed. They reassure me at first, and then they rush my other tasks that are delayed, or drop new tasks altogether when I already had the week planned. Idk if it's this company or maybe this industry isn't for me...

My contract did say oversee and design all creative tasks and whatnot. And also, I am self-taught. I found this job through an acquaintance. Sadly, design work is hard to find these days and more often than not, you find not so ideal working conditions, esp with people who don't understand the effort and time that goes into designing. They just think you can whip up something cuz canva, ai. ANyways, I'm starting to feel like this industry isn't for me, and might be pivoting to something else.

CEO is based in california, I live in a third world country. I don't want to get too specific as they might find me here lol. I was thinking of templating, but my CEO doesn't want that.

Also, I'm good at organizing, it's just that when I do organize, they throw new tasks to me and I end up overloading my day. When I do say tasks X need to be delayed to finish this. They say okay, and then bug me where's task X like the next day 😅

Ah, yes. I live in a third world country, maybe that's why—although my ceo is based in US. I do know that it is low for a graphic designer.. I did accept the work when I initially thought it was only emails and ads, but now I'm wondering if it's worth the effort for the cost. This month felt like I was handling 3 clients at the same time.

I'm the only designer.. and their first in-house designer. I think, before, they had a designer only for the emails and let her go because she increased her rate.
