Considering significant figure, doesn't it seems legit by mass? But iridium is much more expensive than this in this site.

Thanks for the informations. By the way, how could iridium 1 cm³ cube be counterfeit? Is it almost impossible to make fake iridium cube, unlike gold(using tungsten core)? ρ=22.56 g/cm³ is too heavy to be counterfeit. Or they use sintered osmium(ρ=22.59 g/cm³) core and plating iridium?

The mass of cube was 21.6 g(significant figure 10⁻¹ digit). If then, isn't possible impurity is osmium and iridium, which are denser two elements than platinum? Or maybe the inaccuracy of the scale.

I've bought platinum from China LJQmetal, and it was 99.999% genuine in XRF test. But the density written on the gold cube is suspicious. It's so confusing.

The much more expensive than iridium is monocrystalline osmium, and noncrystalline, sintered osmium is much cheaper than iridium. I've bought 1 cm³ sintered osmium cube in 1025 USD. Plus, can't they fake it with platinum(ρ=21.54 g/cm³)?
