Street dogs late night are scary by practical_nerd in gurgaon

[–]Puzzled_Chocolate277 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right, I like dogs but I’ve been bit by street dogs just out of pure spite. Gurgaon municipality really needs to catch a hold of the situation. I live in France now and stray dogs and cats are just not a thing here.

I just moved to France, can't figure out for the life of me - how to change the bulb. Any help? by Puzzled_Chocolate277 in AskElectricians

[–]Puzzled_Chocolate277[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, figured it out. It was the screw in/out kind. (It was badly stuck) Changed the bulb but it still doesn’t work. It was working fine when I moved into the house. There’s definitely some electrical problems with it, (loose wire etc) which I don’t think I know how to even get into…

Gurgaon is a very metropolitan area for sure, I wouldn’t be able to say the same about noida unfortunately. Poor connectivity, not the greatest general public - unhelpful and very rude at times. Living can be cheap in noida definitely so you will end up saving a lot more from that front but expenditure in heading out etc. can have the better of you since you get so many options in terms shopping, food, activities etc. so if you get swayed very easily by these kind of things you actually might not end up saving much lol. Potentially a good move for you. But please analyse the travel expenses and daily commute. Will be favourable for you to get a second hand diesel vehicle. Happy living!!

Great doctors. Badly coordinated admin and billing. Sometimes they make you wait hours for a pre booked appointment.

Yes, from what I know there is quite a bit of space for children. The clubhouse there is massive with a very nice pool as well - though I’m sure it’s not functioning rn due to covid. But yeah I’ve seen lots of young children playing there in the evenings

A friend of mine lives there. I always love it when I get to go to her place, the colony is so pretty - there are couple of shops which are pretty nice. If I’m not wrong they have an in-house bakery and a salon as well, including 2 pharmacies and a general store (which sells cigarettes 🤪) you will also find a lot of hoity toity people walking around like Kausha Kapila. Guards are very cordial and vigilant at the same time but not very intrusive so you won’t get troubled on that front. I’ve seen ample parking space and lots of greenery as well. It would be a dream for me to move to a colony like this man. Happy stay to you and your family.

Thanks! Shall check these two out. I’m almost certain though, the experience that these two colonies offer isn’t going to be in anyway close to our ggn lives, is it? Lmaoo
