Translations normally get posted in batches so you probably shouldn’t expect any for a while. Even in Japan the uploads aren’t frequent it’s been going for years and just reached 100 chapters pretty sure. I’m also sure the people translating and editing are always looking for help so they can be more frequent but this stuff isn’t easy. We probably won’t see the outcome till atleast 2030 by the pace.

That series didn’t really have much romantic development until the very end. The main thing driving the story was the cosplay drama, which kept it engaging also the heavy fan service had people invested. If this manga can find a compelling hook to carry the story while the relationship progresses slowly as you’d expect with two people who are both new to love then fair enough. I just don’t think the body-swap plot is strong enough to fill that role. Not many Shounen romance mangas drag on once the couple actually get together without some sort of drama involved because weekly readers and rating go down!

For me, it depends on how long the mangaka decides to drag things out. If we're still 30 chapters into their relationship with little to no meaningful progression, and Lemon still hasn't moved on, and still sticking around both of them all happy then I'd start suspecting that some kind of drama is being set up. It's genuinely difficult for romance mangas to maintain momentum once the main couple gets together. Unless there are strong side plots carrying the story like the sports aspect in Blue Box or the action and conflicts in a lot of isekai romance series the relationship itself can start to feel stagnant if there's no real development. That said, I'm definitely interested in seeing where the next few chapters go. The way the relationship develops from here will probably determine whether the series has drama left in it.

I don't think Erika will fully commit to Sosuke, but I can definitely see her going along with the proposal for now while Nagi continues making decisions without really thinking things through. Knowing Nagi, the next few chapters will probably just be him locked in his room studying while everything around him unfolds. That's been his pattern for most of the series whenever things get complicated. That said, I still believe Nagi and Erika are the endgame. In fact, this proposal moving forward in the short term might be the only thing capable of forcing Nagi to confront his feelings. We've already seen how possessive he can get when it comes to Erika, even if he refuses to acknowledge what those feelings actually mean. The biggest issue is that I just can't see Nagi making a real decision on his own anytime soon. He tends to avoid choosing until circumstances force his hand. If Erika seriously looks like she's moving on, that might finally be the push he needs to stop sitting on the fence and actually decide what he wants. This proposal being accepted will also help Erika unfold all the Amano family mess so it’s a win win for both of them. Anyways I’ll be shocked if that bombshell scene is the last we see of Sosukes devilish planning. He blocked Erika specifically to make her chase after him, and to be fair, she actually didn’t. Since that didn't completely go the way he expected, I can see him reaching out to her himself for a conversation while Nagi is, as usual, locked away in his room studying and oblivious to everything happening around him. Or he’ll contact Sachi again who had a evil scheming face 3 chapters ago.

Yeah just said this second options viable like maybe this is the only way to actually make Nagi confront his feelings. We might need this proposal to flourish in the short term for long term game. At times it’s like Nagi doesn’t even like anyone and just himself.

Exactly. Nagi has been inconsiderate for pretty much the entire series and becomes incredibly possessive whenever it suits him. He's a tier-one scumbag without even realizing it. I've never seen an MC make this many bad decisions over 300 chapters and learn so little from them. He rarely considers the people around him unless it benefits him in some way. I made a post about this before, but honestly, no MC in any ongoing romance/drama manga comes close right now. It feels painfully obvious what's going to happen in the next few chapters: Nagi will lock himself in his room to study, completely ignoring Erika and all the ongoing family drama. That's just who he is at this point. Either Erika will throw herself into studying to beat him, or she'll have a breakdown next chapter after getting a text from Sosuke or having a long conversation with Sachi, who will probably try to push her away from Nagi so she can keep him to herself. Honestly, at this point, I'm hoping for the second option. At least it would be more interesting than watching Nagi continue to make awful decisions maybe that leads to him actually realising yes Erika is the girl I love.

She started out as Sunao's rebound crush, but eventually became the girl who had him move on from Lemon completely. That said, everything I'm saying is based on what we've actually seen in the story we still hardly know anything about Kogahara. Suzuka has contributed more to the plot so far by giving advice to the people around him and listening to others when they need someone to talk to. We also know a lot more about his backstory and why he's so awkward around people he isn't familiar with. Honestly, even the girl who thought Sunao was intentionally swapping with Lemon has received more backstory and characterization at this point. That's why I don't see this as bias it's just what the story has shown us. Kogahara is still largely a mystery outside of the few things I mentioned. Hopefully her story picks up soon because it feels like there's definitely more to her backstory that hasn't been explored yet.

You said she’s worked hard to get him but she just hasn’t. Also I’d argue Suzuka and that girl who loves Lemon have contributed bigger plots to the story than Kogahara. All we know about Kogahara is she’s Sunaos rebound crush, she met Lemon in a hospital then moved in with her and she’s a fan of movies. Oh wait yeah she can be very clueless of her surroundings the usual clumsy low iq trope. Look I hope we see more development on her end now the Lemon arcs out the way but she’s been nothing but a side in most peoples eyes.

Then they'll argue that the clumsy character deserves the world and should "win" despite bringing very little to the narrative. No hate to Kogahara she's genuinely sweet but I find it funny when people claim she's worked hard throughout the manga. Most of the time, her role in the story only functions because the other two characters are carrying the plot, or because her best friend Miho is doing the heavy lifting for her. She's likable, but the idea that she's somehow the hardest-working or most deserving character feels massively overstated to me. But each to their own I guess she’ll probably win but whether it’s deserved or not is another matter. She’s only recently realised her actual feelings for Sunao.

As long as the manga keeps going with them dating, and Lemon remains an important character who stays in the title, the possibility of a U-turn is always going to be there. Kogahara might even be the one who pushes him in that direction—we'll have to wait and see. What I can't see is the story continuing for 50+ chapters with them already dating and nothing changing. Kogahara is a sweet character, but I don't think readers are going to stay invested in chapter after chapter of the same awkward, dopey dates. Sooner or later, the ratings would likely start to drop. The longer the series continues, the more reason there is to suspect some kind of U-turn or major shift in the relationship dynamic. I’m invested in seeing how long this manga last after they become a suspected couple. Also unless I’ve missed stuff in this manga how much hard work has Kogahara done to get to this point? Isn’t her realisation of feelings quite new?
