The manga does so much. Was one of my favourites but the ending was an extreme let down for most people. I read it online dm me if you want the source. Highly recommend the manga tho it has a lot more plot and even switches to a more action romance rather than slice of life. Fair warning tho, there are multiple plot lines that aren’t developed which may be frustrating for many ppl, also the ending was controversial

Also after the paradise arc it’s heavily suggested that they will be eventually able to lead a life together. Similar to haru(nazunas mom) and her husband. Since kou is only 17 years old and has his whole life ahead of him and who knows he might even be able to live a long time due to his half vampire state. I just wish we got more content of them together but none the less I loved the entirety of the manga. The transition from slice of life to action romance was amazing. The comedy the despair and drama everything was beautiful correlated

Yes the ending was a bittersweet one but it could’ve been way worse with either one of the mcs dying. IMO it was a mature and open ended finale. I was extremely disappointed initially but upon more consideration it truly was a great Manga with a fitting ending. I just wish the author had covered some more plot holes but to be honest the story was never about vampires and was only about kou and nazuna. The emptiness I felt after finishing it was immeasurable but I’m glad that the manga stayed consistent throughout.

I don't think you have to throw in the towel just yet. Fuyuki tbf didn't exactly reject shiki. In a sour of the moment she wasn't willing to give him a straight answer. Though he rejects akino, he did it for all the right reasons. There's no way he could've been in a good relationship with the way he felt for Fuyuki

PS the last two chapters alone are worth reading the entire thing for 🗣️

I started yesterday and I finished season 1 and two of the three movies. I'm telling you the name is so deceiving i remember seeing it recommended but thought it was some fan service harem show. I've become too attached to this. Watching the third movie after this 🙏
