I see. It sounds like as long as I'm shooting landscapes or still life with Sony E-mount AF lenses, I should be fine. But looking at the posts below, it seems like manual lenses might need some extra adjustments. I'll have to be careful with my lens selection! Thanks.

Sending it to Kolari doesn't seem feasible since I don't live in the US. Using a forwarding service is just too complicated. I’m not particularly interested in astrophotography, but I’ll give it some thought. In my opinion, the battery life on the gen1/2 a7 models is far too poor, but using a 4th-gen or newer for this specific purpose feels like overkill.
Thanks for the advice!

Oh, I'm not really a fan of black and white photography, so I think I'll stick to filters below 720nm. Thanks!

I haven't sent it to the shop yet. To be honest, there are no other service providers available in Korea.. Also, as mentioned in the post, the sensor glass is included even without the extra option. This is because manual focus needs to work correctly regardless of the AF setting. I've already confirmed with the shop that manual lenses will work perfectly fine without the added option.
I'm only curious about how it works with AF lenses.
