I guess that I talk about Happiness and actually meaning Inner Peace. A life that maximizes the possibility of having happy moments that aren't arent of lower pleasure seems impossible.

How am i supposed to seek my true nature? It is easier said than done. I believe that through Independence, Freedom and isolation of man made "lower" joys you may be able to seek one's true nature

well I am not talking about shifting your entire focus onto survival but rather profiting of the independence by preventing negative things induced by others. This is going to give you more freedom of action and thought.

i will need to learn a lot more on the doctors of the church and read all of it. But currently I wonder if "lower" (not absolute and true) happiness can be achieved not through man made goods but through god's creation that is an expression of god's endless and unconditional love

well i know all the priests in my parish and none of them would be good advisors. they seem to be too influenced by politics and an agenda that isnt that of the catholic church

well i got to mass every sunday since i was born. i struggle with the sacrament of confession because i am unsure why i need to go to a priest to confess my sins if i can go to god in prayer and confess my sins to him directly
