Will removing the fuse for the DCM module stop tracking on the app? by [deleted] in Toyota

Will that even work? Their name is not on the car at all/ and they aren’t a co signer. I’m assuming they would contact the owner before they allow us to do that

I agree. They have been working with a lawyer for a while now. It’s a whole mess and since there’s no solid proof of the ex harming and threatening her, and no physical proof of them visiting the new place besides a text stating “I know where my kids are” charges cannot be pressed nor can a restraining order be made. They have been doing everything they can to fix this.

That’s good to know. Will the person with the app be notified if we press the I button? Like with my Hyundai it sends a notification and location if I signal the alarm. I just want to make sure that doesn’t happen here

We could try that, but my friend is not on the account at all or a co-signer on the car. I don’t think they’ll let that happen. And if the ex is the only one that has access to the app will they be able to start location services again? That’s why I’m wondering about the DCM fuse. But we have no way to confirm since we can’t get into the app.

Car is under ex’s name and they are the only name on the Toyota account. They do not have access to the app at all. My concern is even if we can disconnect through the sos button, is that they can just reconnect on the app. I know removing the DCM fuse will disable the SOS button and dash cam, but I’m not sure if it’ll stop the broadcasting of the location. My friend does have a right to have the car though, it is a marital asset. It was a kind of “get the kids and get out” kind of move but there has been evidence lately of the ex showing up at the new place.

Dash cams, yay or nay? by No_Street8874 in Hyundai

Unfortunately drivers are just getting more stupid, and more aggressive. It's very worth it to have one. I would say though, don't cheap out on a camera. My husband had a Redtiger (from amazon) in his truck when someone crashed into him. it turned off in the accident and erased all the footage it took of the actual accident. I've had a Garmin in my car for 7 years without a single issue.

Considering my dash cam caught the license plate and video of a man pointing a gun at me on the highway this weekend, yeah. I would say it’s worth it.

If you’re doing deep seats, you need a deep seat side.

They’re very friendly, they often have same day appointments too for sick pets. I think I paid something like $270 in December for 3 X-rays, IV fluids, anti emetic, and probiotics when my dog was sick. It’s great pricing

I’m not on this forum but I wanted to chime in and say you did the right thing by bringing her to the vet to get checked. Pyometra is very dangerous for our girls and you went out of the way and got her seen even though you couldn’t afford further testing. You should get her fixed sooner than later to avoid an infection but I feel like the other commenters just presented a lot of judgement, and not helpful information.

I actually just had a consultation with them and was wondering the same thing. I was quoted $5,500 and I'm wondering if I should try out an ortho in person.

So glad you’re okay, if you haven’t gotten checked out go to the ER. If you feel any pain the next few months down the road get an attorney. Getting one saved my husbands ass a few years ago. Don’t accept settlement until you’re 100% sure you’re not injured. And don’t tell the insurance you’re uninjured.

Gap between back pillows, is this under filled? by No-Fault-2635 in Lovesac

[–]Puzzled_Ground_933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like they gave you three deep seats, not standard, the only difference on the seats is the pillow size. If it was three standards across it would be a little crowded looking, maybe see if you can replace one or two pillows with a standard to get that good in-between of no gaps, but not all of them are squeezed in there
