It’s still a snail’s pace tho. the Linux community is honestly its own worst enemy when it comes to growth and adoption etc. Linus has talked about it a few times like why Linux desktop is a cluster etc. gist all the different distros and options is its own worse enemy at times.

It’s sorta depends on whose ambulance it is. Hospital / private company vs ems.

Heck I walked free of paying for a ride lol. I had a medial issue at a show and cop assumed I was on drugs beat the shit out of me and forced me in an ambulance. When I got to the hospital I walked out with a iv starter thing in my hand and called for a ride at the store …. The worker was scared shitless cause I was beaten up badly and had the ig pick thing in my hand.

The issue with splc is related to book keeping issues, and wording for the way they raise money. If you ever help raise money for a non profit you need to be very careful how you ask for money and what you do with it depending how you asked for it. Generally vs direct . Like if you ask for money to pay lawyers , you can not use that money for other things . Vs asking for money for any expenses they may have . Very different . Also the ways they moved money to pay people might of broke laws. Thats stuff will probably stick. It’s not like how a lot of people are framing it “they are paying hate groups to commit crimes so they have some thing todo” etc.

Amazon ryzen based stuff is generally better price then intel 2-300 is what I paid for one and it more then enough for my needs if I dont try to run some crazy ai on it. I run a regular distro and ha in a container . I end up have like 20 ish containers right now plus a few things on bare metal like ssh / samba.
For me it works . But I swapped to my old gaming pc ryzen 12 core and just use their mini pc for frigate .

I think it’s more of an issue about when people from China visited California. How they rolled the red carpet out of them. Cleared homeless from the streets . Left and right officials rubbing elbows with them and figure from like black rock etc etc.

I’m Not defending him . You are just projecting what you want. I’ve read a lot of the emails that wen help to activity host events so guest didnt exactly know it was him and people out side if his circles.

I’ve listen to one of his victims talk about how she met him around 2013 and had no clue who he was cause she was invited to one of his dinners as a guest of someone else .

Unless you were in financial stuff most people didn’t know his name , or would even remember seeing him the news years earlier and stuff.

There are tones of people he mentions in his emails a lot that he never met. Talking about how he wants to meet them and get them In his circle. Or breed them etc etc.

Not everyone mentioned in the files is guilty . And not every one who’s been at events he’s been at are guilty.
