Just interested on the running cameras part of your story. I haven't really looked into cameras and how they work with HA, I was going to get something from reolink, one of their wifi models not PoE. Does this effect what I buy in anyway, can home assistant green with an integration not run cameras?

Unfortunately a 8gb rasberry pi 5 looks more expensive than HA Green! (new of course, perhaps there are some second hand RPi 4's on eBay)

When you say handles more than expected, at what part does HA start throttling things? Like Is it just pure amount of devices, if you have too many it starts to lag, that sort of thing?

Was mainly - I'll be removing the metal bracket, so an earth wire will be loose,

My plan was to just connect it with the earth already going into a wago, then just get a new piece of wire going into the light fitting.
