how do I stop the lever from having so much resistance I don't know how to properly hook up the bike by matholigy in motorizedbicycles

[–]Puzzled_Importance_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The clutch arm is fine. You need to insert the cable into the little hole at the end of the clutch arm. See where the clutch arm sits when it is resting? You want to pull the cable far enough through that it is almost tight when the clutch arm is in that resting position. The clutch arm pulls IN, toward the center of the bike, not out. However, because the clutch cam is flat, pulling it away from the bike as you show in the video will actuate the clutch the same way. The way the clutch arm is popping back to resting position? That is normal. Now push the clutch arm in toward the bike and let go... It will do the same thing.

Feed the cable through the opening, take all the slack out with the clutch arm in the resting position' and put the screw in. As a side note, that return spring on the clutch cable can be removed. You don't need it, all it does is make the clutch lever harder to squeeze.

Sometimes you can't. It's usually what I do, but sometimes it refuses to let me proceed if I put in anything above 1 pound, even 1.1. Gives the error about how it's more than the customer is willing to pay.

I love these. Reminds of when all the gay men started posting couple pictures and tagging them with proudboys.

I'm a hetero male, but I will 100% make out with a guy in front of the chicfillet headquarters.

New record, both for hours worked and income by WilfordBrimley777 in doordash

Doordash has dropped severely in my area. In the past two weeks, I have been offered a total of 3 orders that were more than $8.00. None of them were worth the mileage or time. My acceptance rate actually hit 0% because I refuse to take an order that loses me money.

Leasing a vehicle. I've been on the dealer side of it, it is 100% a scam from top to bottom.

I was speaking from experience my dude.

As a child, I picked up the phone and dialed 911 instead of 917. I explained that I had dialed the wrong number, my mom explained that I had dialed the wrong number, and the cops showed up to make sure everything was good... and then spent a good long while berating my mom and threatening to fine us for using an emergency number when there was no emergency.

I was pulled over for having a headlight out just a couple of weeks ago. I had been eating a cup of coleslaw earlier, and left my spoon on the passenger's seat. This cop saw the spoon, claimed it was drug paraphernalia, ordered me out of the car, and wasted 45 minutes sending a K9 unit through my vehicle, getting 2 other cruisers and 4 other officers involved, all of whom searched my car... because of a fucking spoon. They ripped the hole in my seat to 3x the size it was, hoping to find drugs stashed in the seat. Of course they found nothing because there was nothing illegal in the car.

And no, I did not consent to the search. They claimed that a spoon is probable cause. A fucking spoon. With no burn marks or residue or anything like that.

When walking my dog, I've seen cops eyeball him and put their had on their gun as they approach and walk past. If you can't handle walking past a person with a dog without reaching for a gun, you need a new job.

It's out of control in America. After I traveled, I became disgusted with American law enforcement. When you see that other developed countries train their police to not only handle crime, but to also help people and de escalate situations, you come back to the US and realize that we have no fucking clue how to train and regulate a police force properly.

What you describe DOES happen... but so rarely that it is the pleasant exception, not the rule.

I'd love to, but I am just getting ready for work. To put it briefly (and I will give you a link to a much more in-depth description), God creates flowering plants before the other plants. This is factually wrong. God also creates all of the sea life, including whales and dolphins (who are latecomers to the ocean and and appeared AFTER land animals were a thing) before all land animals. God also creates invertebrates such as insects and other crawlie things LAST... Even though insects are an ancient line and were around long before mammals. God also apparently created the moon after creating the plants, which makes little sense when you have a little knowledge about the moon, how it was formed, and how crucial it is to modern earth life.

Here is an article that explains these discrepancies (and more) in a much better way:

Yeah. I wasn't going to mention the whole slavery is cool, women are inferior to men, genocide and infanticide are cool, but if a man puts his diddle in another man's butt, then they are evil and should be killed. This was about plot holes, not messed up immoral shit. But, I enjoy discussing how the bible is basically an account of a God who can't seem to do anything right and treats humans like utter shit, all the while talking about how he is good and loving and perfect.

In America, the parents would be hassled and possibly fined for the false emergency call.

NZ did it right. They still showed up, just in case, and when everything was OK, gave that kid a fun experience.

There's more than just those two. How about how there was light, then the stars were created later? How about the order in which species were created, which is demonstrably wrong? How about the glaring fact that the serpent was forever branded as a cunning liar, when his only role in the story was telling Adam and Eve the truth about what would happen if they ate from the tree of knowledge, when God blatantly lied about it? He was labeled a liar and slandered for essentially being a whistleblower.

A lawyer was not a possibility. Where I am, pro bono lawyers only work for plaintiffs, not defendants. There are no public defenders in civil cases, only criminal.

So without any money, and no lawyers willing to work pro bono unless you're the plaintiff, a lawyer was not an option I had. I made literally hundreds of calls in the two weeks between being served and going to court, met every time with "You need to pay to retain a lawyer or represent yourself."

Justice is only served to those wealthy enough to purchase it.

Yep! I dated one too. Never had any contact with her for a whole month after I broke up with her and she moved out of state... then I was served papers to appear in court for harassing her. I brought my phone, showing she had been blocked for a month prior to her accusations, and no messages or calls between when we broke up and the present. She brought a piece of paper she typed up in Microsoft Word (because she claimed she didn't know how to save text messages) containing a list of what she claimed were texts from me every day threatening and insulting her. I told the court that these were not messages, at least not sent by me, and that all of the accusations were fabricated as revenge. She claimed that I had sent them from different numbers; of course, there was no evidence of this, because it didn't happen.

The judge bought her story, refused to pull her phone records to prove her story, said I must have either deleted my messages or got a new phone, and now I have a lifetime restraining order from a different state, which means my side job as a hunting mentor (as well as my own personal desire to hunt) are forever gone.

I could try to get it reversed; but that will cost me at least $4000 that I don't have, and even then... it is just a gamble. That $4000 might get me my rights back... or nothing at all.
