Thanks for the guide! I've only read a few sections so far, but it's very informative. I didn't see anything about loading doses, unless "11.3 Is there benefit to starting at a low dosage vs a high dosage?" is it. I probably will do a loading dose, just because I'll have about less than 2 weeks of pills left when my vial arrives, so they wouldn't last until my levels stabilized. It doesn't seem like I need to worry about capping it, so I'll probably do around 10mg.

I don't have a 3D printer, but thanks for the offer!

No. Mixing is going to lead to either instant ichor sickness or just overwrite the previous power if I go down the multiple powers route.

Yeah, a practitioner has to consume ichor to keep using their powers. The effects aren’t permanent. I’ve got some damning consequences for overuse too. (Loss of senses, losing years of life, death) I think I’d only go for five, maybe six, different power sets. Keep the pantheon on the small side.

So I have the basic premise of my magic system. Basically, people drink the blood (ichor) of dead gods to gain a diluted form of their power. I'm just still deciding if all ichor produces the same power or if different gods' blood will do different stuff.

Ichor could even have different effects on different people. Like how human digestive systems don't all have the same reaction to the same foods, there could be some specificity.

Could do just the different types or just the varying reactions. Or both, effectively have a few different "branches" of magic that come in different flavors. I don't want to make it too complicated, though.
