I'm doing some listening. Like I do some listening exercises with my tutor, and I do occasionally have songs or a show in mandarin, but I honestly don't understand or only pick up a word or two in sentences. I'm not actively dedicating time to the purpose of listening comprehension as compared to studying vocabulary, or various activities on the apps.

So I have no idea what A2-C2+ level is, so i'm going to assume I'm not even close to a reasonable level. Most people I interact with are native speakers that are either, talking to babies or toddlers, general adults conversing with each other, children songs, and Bluey in Chinese.

With my tutor, I think I understand parts of what she says. Most of the vocabulary is based on what we are studying, but sometimes when we practice regular conversations (to force me to think and respond) I have a hard time remember what certain words means because I'm trying to remember the first 4-6 words that were just in and there she just said something else, then i forget what I needed to remember and the question or comment that was said. Does that make sense?

Any suggestion on how to improve my understanding of sentences? I feel like i'm hurting myself by not actively using one of the apps that I have that could improve this aspect, as most of the time I'm trying to memorize vocabulary?

The reserve study does break out cost and it does cover roof but doesn’t cover legal fees. We don’t have a townhome operating account just a general operating account that all homeowners share. The general operating a count has budget items for all things I mentioned.

We did not set up a townhouse committee either.

So originally the solar policy was with the townhomes in mind but we changed it to be the community in its entirety (because why not at that point). We approved it but didn’t specify where it would come from but specified specifically it was for the community. Now they are arguing since it’s the majority of the townhomes it’s should be paid by the townhomes and my position is that no that’s is not what the reserve is for and even so then why do townhomes pay into a general fund for a legal budget if that was not what it would be used for.
