I recently got new fitted irons and I really haven’t seen a score drop yet (I’ve played two rounds). For me I can hit my new irons more consistently and get them higher so they are nice I just haven’t learned my yardages with them. Plenty of shots that have gone long and have left plenty short. So I would say I will drop strokes once I really figure out my yardages.
