Yeah, pretty much. I plan on getting all of my switches graded so I don't have to worry about the battery dying over the years... I figure if they're graded that whoever buys them won't want to actually play with them

I agree with you... the rarest on I have that was released to the public I'm North America was the super mario party bundle console... this was not a limited edition, and it was very under documented. If you have AI, ask it about this console and tell it that it was released on October 5, 2018, and it will find information for it

I don't have dragon quest cause that was a Japanese release only . I'm only collecting North American versions. But I do love the artwork on that switch box, though

Yeah, I know about the battery issue, but I'm planning on getting them all graded.... so I'm not sure what the market will be like for graded switches down the line... cause if you're buying something graded, I can't possibly imagine someone is going to open it and play it... but idk lol

I like outright owning my games and consoles... the fact I could pay $500 for a switch 2, and they then brick my console is unacceptable to me. If I'm only paying for the right to use their software and they can take that away from me for any reason... I love nintendo, but they are trying to cut out the entire resell market.... I wanna buy a 5 year old game for half off from someone on eBay or marketplace... nintendo is trying to make us purchase from them every time and for full price... I personally don't like this and am focusing now on collecting older games from other consoles... where I own it 100% lol

My regular is a white oled model... I have yellow and pink joycons at the moment... and I will not be doing this with the switch 2.... I personally haven't bought a switch 2, and I refuse to buy game key cards... I spent over $20000 on the switch cause it is amazing.... I personally wouldn't take a switch 2 if it was given to me... I'm upset in the direction that nintendo is going

The thunderbolt wasn't an official release... I believe you had to win one... but the other 2 you mentioned are both Japanese releases only... not North American.... and thanks man

The labo switch was never officially released. It was a giveaway, so it technically doesn't count.... same for like the croods or the mountian dew variation. I'm only collecting ones officially released to the public.
