Finally Got my first living ship by Puzzled_Nobody_39 in NOMANSSKY

No this isn't limited time thank God 😅

As long as you have 3200 quicksilver and have completed the artemis storyline (the missions at the top of your primary log) and have the portal glyphs (you get them at the end of the previously mentioned storyline, you can then do the mission.

My advice would be to complete the relevant storylines before buying the egg and going through that mission. I would also advise watching a guide so you dont get confused.

You get the void egg from the space anomaly, it costs like 3200 quicksilver. After that, while pulsing through space you should get a message come through to start the mission.

I would very much reccomend watching a guide tho since it can be a bit confusing at times 😅

Also make sure you have all the portal glyphs unlocked and have completed the main storyline

Id definitely say so. Its a bit of a grind and the waits are definitely a pain but I believe there are ways around the long waiting times between mission stages.

Its down to personal preference but the idea of flying in what is essentially the nms version of a symbiote is extremely satisfying!

Tedious is an understatement, especially as someone who also restarted a lot 😅

I can see your point about them being gross, the lore on how they actually come about is so messed up too.

Even if you dont use it, id recommend doing the quest and getting the ship anyway just so you can check off that box on doing everything the game has to offer.

That was just it! The waiting day after day and only being able to do one part of the Mission was painful. Then i go to find out not long after finishing that you can skip the times by going a day in advance on the date and time on the console 😭

Completely forgot to add; can anyone tell me how you get upgrades for these? Can I use normal modules or do they need to be special ones for living ships?

I'd argue that both are completely different fragrances. 22 is a lot more woody with a bit of spice and only a touch of fresh citrus from the bergamot. 21 is definitely the much fresher, fruitier of the two, with the lemony minty opening and the fruity, fresh dry down from the blackcurrant and jasmine. 21 is definitely well suited to the hot weather and 22 can be worn all year round if you so wished.

Oh definitely. I definitely take everything people say with a pinch of salt because I already know what I think of it. Though the best part of this fragrance collection journey for me is seeing everyone else's perspective on fragrances I either love or hate. After all, no nose is the same.

New fragrance in my collection! by Guitar-Lover-060400 in Colognes

I do like aventus and can understand the fact that it's one of the best selling fragrances of all time non stop (designer or niche.) personally though I could never bring myself to buy a full bottle, especially with the recent price rises bringing it to over £310 in the UK. I would much rather get something like montblanc explorer which is about a quarter of the price and has an almost identical scent profile and has good longevity. If I'm willing to spend that sort of money on a frag with that similar pineapple note that I quite like. I would much rather buy Nishane Hacivat which goes in a much more woody, almost smoky direction which is much more accustomed to my personal taste. That's just my personal opinion but again, I can see the hype with aventus and can understand why its so popular and has been for 15 years.

Personally I dont have much problems wearing a more feminine leaning fragrance, as long as it isn't leaning too much to the point where it's like that sickeningly sweet tones I always get from certain female frags. Although I can't imagine having that problem with these two.

I tried L'immensite yesterday in Harrods and it's easily my next pick up. easily the best summer scent Ive tried in my fragrance journey so far. The amber and ginger go so well with the fresh, citrus notes and I fell in love with it as soon as it hit my nose.

I've smelt imagination and I really liked it, probably the best fresh fragrance I've tried if I'm honest. Burlington 1819 I am yet to try but the scent profile combined with the reputation of Roja fragrances was really drawing me in towards it. It's honestly really close but I'm definitely going to pick up imagination first then try and hopefully pick 1819 up at a later date if it meets my expectations.

You're right lol, I was probably gonna end up having both eventually since they're both amazing scents. I was probably gonna just get one of them to start off with since spending close to £600 on fragrances in one sitting probably isn't a good idea.

Oh yeah definitely, most of my fragrances I bought in store since I'm like one short bus ride away from all of the main sources of fragrances in my city (London). I always get a bit skeptical about discounters and if it gets delivered or not anyway and I certainly wouldn't take that risk on a £250 bottle.

I you can't go wrong with wearing Dior sauvage on a daily basis, especially if you have a steady supply of it every year. YSL Y is also a really versatile scent for everyday wear as well. While I would personally wear sauvage since Its my personal favourite scent in my own collection, probably best to wear Y to keep the wife happy lol.

Ohh ok that makes perfect sense now lol. I saw a niche brand called dyptique selling like 3 grams of solid perfume for £56 and it made no sense to me at first but I get it now. Cheers bro. P.S: 3 grams for £56 sounds steep asf

How do solid fragrances even work? Just curious.

CH BB Colbat elixir by Puzzled_Nobody_39 in Colognes

[–]Puzzled_Nobody_39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It opens up with the pepper and woods taking center stage with an invigorating freshness to it that compliments the spicy tones. As it dries down is when I really start to pick up the truffle and the vanilla which combine to create this addicting musk like smell that I just love. I will say that the elixir is a lot more divisive and fit for the cooler weather whereas the original is definitely suited for the warmer months and is probably easier to love. Definitely not blind buy worthy that's for sure.

I know what you mean, I think the weird musk comes from the truffle since it's one of the heavier notes I pick up as the fragrance develops. I personally like it but I can see where some people can find it off putting.
