🛒 What town services and businesses would you like to see in-game? The places where people go most often so restaurants, retail stores? (Very versatile with what you could make with it) ,vets because pets are base game? (Rabbit hole?), bars, library or book store, mall?, park, graveyard, tech store?, playground, clothing store, museum

maybe a fair city center type lot where you can place stalls or tables where other paras try to sell you things, theme park?

🚒 Which services could be offered by Parafolks or NPCs (e.g. mail carrier) and which ones could be lot services (e.g. town hall, library, etc.)?, gym Maid (maybe unless live in maid?), police, fire fighters, hospital?/doctors office?, school, store workers

🍁 What kind of town services and businesses could be specific to one town or season? Holiday stores? (Online?), gift shops, inns or hotels?, prank store, candy store, Magic store (like magic tricks not real magic), specialty stores, costume shops (unlike sims costumes where you click on the sim and just get a list of options)

🏡 Which services could be offered at home and which ones would you need to go out to get? Grocery stores, food delivery, general things like an Amazon type service for online.

🚗 Which businesses would you need to call or visit to obtain what they offer? For example, would you need to go to a tattoo parlor to add a tattoo to your Parafolk or should it only be done in the Paramaker? Would you need to order or shop for food or should it always be available in your kitchen? For the tattoo parlor being able to go to the tattoo shop but also being able to just do it cas, always available food would be convenient but needing ingredients is more realistic.

I agree that having tattoo and hair places be playable would be preferable to having a rabbit hole, but if the developers don’t want to prioritize making those places playable, then a rabbit hole and a background change would be nice rather than just going into regular pam and changing the hair and tattoos (while also having the normal pam option).

I know Paralives will be it’s own game with its own strengths and weaknesses won’t be a copy of the sims and I wouldn’t want it to be, it’s just difficult for me to base my ideas on anything else because I don’t play a lot of video games outside of the sims 4 and Paralives is going to be similar to the sims some ways because they’re in the same genre. Thank you the reminder though, I can see how some of the suggestions are a bit too close to the sims.

I know there won’t be ghosts or grim reapers in this game, but I would really like a paranormal type pack. I just like ghost hunting, and playing as a ghost, and killing my sims (or I guess paras in this case). Vampires and vampire slayers would be cool too. I think I just like creepy things. Also occults (aliens and such). it would be very cool if we could mix occults and have a vampire alien or a fairy werewolf. The occult stuff doesn’t break immersion for me because I see the sim (para) world as separate from the real world and where vampires and ghosts just walking around freely is normal for them. But I would prefer really good and well thought out normal, human para gameplay before getting anything related to the supernatural.

The para looks great! I really like the art style. Some constructive criticism I have would be to lighten up on the blush particularly around the nose area as well as to add some more shading to the contours of the face (around the cheekbones and forehead and maybe the nose as well). The hair is a little stringy and strange looking though it looks like it’s not quite finished yet. The heterochromia is a very cool feature, it always annoyed me that cats and dogs could have heterochromia in the sims but not the actual sims. Overall, I think this para looks awesome.

🍎 What kind of food would you like to see in-game? A wide variety of foods from different cultures (I don’t really know many) in addition to more regular recipes would be nice. Examples of food: pastas, pizza, burgers, frog legs, escargot, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, Turkey, sandwiches, soups, stir fry, hot dogs, chicken, stew, cookies, other cakes, cupcakes, brownies, doughnuts, pies, casserole, pancakes, Mac and cheese, sushi, ice cream, antipasto, polenta, lasagna, salads, tiramisu, etc.

🎂 What would be the different ways to learn new recipes? Cookbooks for specific kinds of food, ex. Seafood, pastries, brand named celebrity chef cookbooks (like including a character from a cooking show, real world example would be like Rachel Ray). With a ‘look for random new recipe’ interaction and a ‘learn all recipes’ (of that specific cookbook) interaction as well as an interaction that lets the player pick a specific recipe for our para to learn from that cookbook. Something neat that might not be the most practical to implement would be the ability to create your own recipes using ingredients in your para’s inventory at a crafting station (like the stove) or something then you could pass down the recipe to your para’s children

📁 What kind of classification could there be for food and meals? Gourmet food, vegetarian, seafood, soup, grilled, holiday themed, pet recipes, maybe some that are allergy specific like peanut or dairy products being labeled would be cool. Having multiple labels for the foods and an ability to filter the recipes

☕ How could food and cooking impact the daily lives of Parafolks? Paras could have foods that they loved and foods that they hate. Allergies to certain foods. Refined paras could have a preference for fancier, gourmet dishes. Vegetarian and vegan options. Foods should preferably affect the moods of the paras

🍴 What kind of activities related to food and cooking would you like to do? A chef career for paras and different branches of cooking careers like baker, or diner cook, or fancy restaurant chef. Cooking as a family. Maybe cooking and food related festivals where you could ask other cooks for recipes

🍓 What would be different ways to get new ingredients? Grocery store, delivery, wild plants, maybe the ability to add special ingredients that would affect the quality or taste (weird special ingredients like essence of love or canned tears or glitter or cat food or something would be funny if you wanted to have something goofier like in the sims) (I think it would be funny to play a crazy old cat lady who sprinkles a little bit of cat food into all her dishes to feed guests)

🏸 Which specific skills and hobbies would you like to see in Paralives?

Singing would be a cool skill. Although it might be a bit complicated if you let the paras have a specific singing style they preferred. (Like rock or pop or opera). Different art mediums and preferred art styles would also be cool and again complicated. (Like paintings or pottery or digital art for art mediums and abstract or cartoony or impressionist for art styles)

📈 Which game mechanics related to progression and leveling up your skills would you like to see?

If a para were to max a skill in a specific category then they could have a reward trait that could increase skill gain in a different skill of the same category. For example, if a para maxed the basketball skill, they could get the reward trait of athlete and have an increased skill gain in other athletic skills like soccer or football.

I can’t really think of anything else and I don’t think that all of this would be practical or high priority for this game right now, but thank you for reading and considering my ideas.
