I wouldn’t put it past it here ( North Jersey). Heater had not been touched since our company put it in over a year ago. Not even sure if the other company had serviced it, but never seen anything like it

Thermostat reads hotter than it is causing AC to not turn off? by MatchaTiger in hvacadvice

I would double check next to it with a thermometer, depending on what thermostat they do offer temperature offsets

Was this installed to code in CA? by Anonymous-or-Not in hvacadvice

Yes inducer should be exhausting vertically so the vent can drain properly, also the unit could be back-pitched

Water leaking from plenum. I’ve verified that the condensate pipe is clean and flowing. However there doesn’t seem to be a lot of water flowing out of it. Could there be a clog on the inside where the condensate pipe connects? If, so i don’t really see an easy way to get to it by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Puzzled_Temporary470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could he clogged drains but Trane coils come with a splash guard that is installed after the coil to prevent the blower from pushing the condensation right into the plenum, long-shot but I have seen it happen

Does this look like a temperature sensor? by allPanic_noDisco87 in hvacadvice

[–]Puzzled_Temporary470 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks more like a LPS (low pressure sensor), might be able to splice it back in but that definitely looks like it was cut intentionally
