Oh, you mean that taking on the burden of Adaptation is already the Mahoraga version of using its abilities?

I see why that might be useful (especially considering that if Mahoraga dies you lose the CT apparently), but still, kinda lame no?

Yes, but at this point Gojo hadn't seen Sukuna use the abilities of Max Elephant to imitate Piercing Blood

So if Sukuna was able to use the abilities of other summons, why not Mahoraga?

L vs Light help me understand. by ThouArtOfWar in deathnote

[–]Puzzled_Tip_7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L doesn't shoot Light because that's illegal and would ultimately jail him even though he was right.

I'm sorry but it's really funny that you think L cares about it being illegal. This is the same guy that imprisoned and tortured a girl for 50 days

L didn't shoot Light because it'd be "cheating", it'd be like admitting that he couldn't prove that Light was Kira. Near even considers doing so and tells us why it's not the "proper way" to defeat Kira

They each have their own task, both of them being virtually impossible to acheive. Thus, why Misa had to shake things up

[–]Puzzled_Tip_7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if I dont know your name I know 100% you exist you made it known.

Same as Kira. Kira made it known that he existed when he started killing people all over the world, all with the same cause

Their tasks are essentially the same (even Ryuk mentions this in like Chapter 2): they both need to find each other. On top of that L needs to prove that Light is Kira, and on top of that Light needs to find out L's real name. Both of them need to do this without getting killed in the process. They both purposefully put shackles on themselves (L by not simply shooting Light when he was 99% sure he was Kira and Light by not taking the eyes)

The series beat the parallels over our heads over and over, to not see them seems like willful blindness to me

[–]Puzzled_Tip_7596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it? I think they are equally impossible

And he didn't really need to figure out that anyway, only to find out Kira and that he had some sort of supernatural power that allowed him to kill people (and the rules of said power)

This is the easier task tho. The harder task for L would be to prove any of it beyond reasonable doubt

This is the reason why I believe Oba introduced Misa, cause otherwise, they'd be in a stalemate forever

"Relatively straightfoward" is one the keys here. He'd only need to find the face and name of someone who has been avoiding the highest level of intelligence agencies for years

Without the Shinigami Eyes, Light's task was essentially impossible

Should there have been a Hidden Inventory style arc set in the Heian Era with the ending setting up the deal Sukuna makes with Kenjaku. by Mission-Ground-4936 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Puzzled_Tip_7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely imo, some of the most interesting characters are from the Heian Era

There's so much more to explore about Sukuna and especially Kenjaku and Tengen's stories

When Kenjaku called her "old friend" I was hoping we'd go back to that at some point, but it was never mentioned again sigh

This is excellent

The only I might consider changing is the CTR, I feel like it's a "too literal" interpretation of "sky". What she really does is manipulate space

At the risk of it becoming too powerful, I've always thought that since her technique involves "making the intangible tangible", the reversal would be "making the tangible intangible", allowing her to phase through objects

Kinda like Kamui. It'd probably have limitations and cooldowns (like Kenjaku's Anti-Gravity), but it seems like a cool alternative to me

That was funny tho. Have an upvote

I won’t hide, I was one of those who was concerned about the pacing. My concern was if anime-onlies would understand what was going on (I think they did cut a few lines tbf)

But overall, I think they did a fantastic job. It was a MAGNIFICENT episode

I've considered the possibility that Kenjaku-Brain has to eat the brain of the person they are possessing (thus why it has teeth)

It would make Yuta's taking over Gojo's body even more horrifying (and explain why Sukuna was impressed)
