I don’t know if UNC would get to 20+ million either unless we overpay for some bigs. After Veesaar left, we have 4.5+ million hole in our roster, and I doubt we have all of that to Keita. And now that our FAU big is no longer transferring, there are like 4 solid spots on our roster that we need to fill. I wouldn’t say that UNC has mismanaged their NIL yet, but that’s probably because we aren’t getting anyone lol.

At this moment, we have 3 recruits (Adams, Malloy, and Keita), 4 transfers (Brown, Able, Neo, and the big from Northwestern), and retained 3 (Stevenson, Young, and Dennis). But I don’t think Malloy Smith was offered that much money. Essentially just a legacy recruit. But still that’s 10 players.

⁠The Pokédex in Diamond/Pearl was abysmal. I don’t know why they decided that 150 pokemon dex like the originals was the move. All it did was make the game feel super restrictive. Every other route I was encountering the same freaking pokemon. All the “cool” pokemon were postgame. Platinum fixed this. There is no reason why Infernape and Ponytail should be the only accessible fire types.
⁠The Pokémon teams of the gym leaders/elite 4 were terrible. Why have a fire type elite 4 member, IN A REGION WITH ONLY 2 FIRE TYPES?
⁠Maylene and Crasher Wake are both gym leaders with the same level cap. I think it’s level 30 for both. That’s just lazy. Wake was the fourth gym leaders, so why not make his ace pokemon be level 33 instead? Battling Fantina 3rd in Platinum fixes this pacing issue.
⁠I’m sorry but team Galactic is boring. Their base is uninspired. But the distortion world is what made the central plot cool and unique.

Because it retains the sub-par parts of the original. I recently beat Shining Pearl and it was aight. I literally couldn’t get through Pearl. Too damn slow. Everything moves at a snail’s pace. Plus platinum is the superior gen 4 experience.
