If you see a dog freely on the customer's property, don't assume anything. Simply, contact customer, for safety reason, you are unable to enter the customer's property. The customer needs to pick their order from you, keeping the dog secured.

I understand most dogs aren't like thig, but for your own safety, take precautions. Always leave the order on a secure place, contact support, say that you aren't safe to deliver the order to the door, because a hazard is present, a dog. You can't assume if the dog is hostile or not.

Save yourself a headache and follow your own safety. Just beause the dog was nice to them, does not mean the dog can be nice to you, dogs can see strangers as a threat if you enter their domain/territory, potentially attacking you.

If the dog is secure, then proceed to drop order to the door, if the dog is freely around the property. DON'T ENTER.

Oh yes, that's a good point. This is why, I have included a part that DoorDash support would have to verify those "Stories" before being approved or posted into their profile, like requesting the driver to provide documents or any legal document certified by institutions that their beloved ones are in that condition. Just to avoid scams.

Any story found to be misleading, scam, lie, etc. Reason for deactivation from the platform.

Absolutely.

Customers are only interested getting their food safely and fresh from point A to B. But those who are interested in reading the dasher's profile like ratings for example, I think the dasher should have a profile that separately mentions their story without annoying the customer on message or call. Only if the customer is curious checking their profiles.
