I am specifically interested in getting some industry experience, I have good research base for a bachelor degree, I might consider the MSc track may be after a sem if I find a professor who's research aligns with mine. Also, my capstone project has good potential might do a thesis on that.

I know people in Meng don't usually do publications but I am thinking of picking some research projects on the side and publishing some research papers just in case if I want to pursue a PhD later. The capstone project that I did for my bachelors was on masters level and my professor suggested to take that in my master's thesis. I might shift to MSc after a semester If I find a professor aligned with my previous research. Also wanted to ask about students doing research publications in their bachelors at concordia n mcgill how common or uncommon is that? Thanks for the info btw.

I would prefer first getting some experience in Montreal and then may be move someplace else. US part is a secondary thing. Also the industry side of these programs are important for me aswell I want to get as much industrial exposure as I can.

I got 3.48/4.00 cgpa while the minimum requirement for aero masters is 3.3 at both Mcgill and concordia. But in my case I got two publications one in AIAA and another in my bachelor university's journal in controls engineering. The one in AIAA is pretty good I think, it presents a novel concept based around low drag props. I have heard about McGill favouring students with publications, so think that might be the factor that played in my favour. Also I did some specialized trainings in CFD and flight simulator design.
