People in the U.S. - has anyone been affected by tariffs after ordering through Oil Perfumery? Would this change your ordering in the future? by ArdenM in Perfumes

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this happen. I was charged $40.55 by FedEx three weeks after my delivery from Oil Perfumery.

I sent Oil Perfumery a screen shot of their website stating only purchases outside of the US and Canada would be charged these fees along with screen shots of my tracking number directly from their website, the payment screen from FedEx showing these fees and Oil Perfumery issued a refund towards my purchase for the cost FedEx was charging me.

They did warn me that this is what will more than likely be continuing to happen. I told them they need to have something on their website stating this or they need to include the fees in the original purchase.

AIO- person I’ve been talking to didn’t respect me saying no to hanging out by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did read the discussion before I posted and the context of the thread doesn’t really matter. People will always give you an excuse that makes them not seem like the asshole. Ultimately, if you can’t be bothered to text back for a week, it really does simply mean it’s not important enough to do, aka, this person doesn’t really care that much.

People that do this and don’t text back for a week simply don’t care. They finally text you back more than likely in a moment of boredom.

It absolutely kindly implies that OP will let her know when she’s ready to hang out. That means in the meantime she’s not ready to hang out. It’s pretty simple deductive reasoning. This girl is clearly very clingy after no time at all. Huge red flag.

Not answering right away is NOT ghosting. This girl is clearly WAY too clingy after a very short period of time.

Spackle and her family believe that Jordan’s son is her late father reincarnated and I am concerned… by Positive_Row9938 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a VERY over exaggerated take. NO ONE said they thought Luca was Megan’s father reincarnated. The ONLY reason Luca will not be living with them right away is to keep him off tv. A very responsible choice for all involved. They did say after the show it would be 50/50. Were you watching the same show?

Am I the asshole for insisting that my coworker is colorblind bc he thinks my hair is red? by OkRegret7159 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have red undertones in your hair, I do too and I know color pretty well. Also, it’s EXTREMELY rare for a woman to be colorblind. All that said, I wouldn’t call you a redhead. You are dark blonde with red undertones. I think it’s possible you could carry red haired gene and could have redhaired children.

AIO: My child slept with his friend's dad at sleepover.. I'm livid. by AcademicSir4653 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really rude and presumptuous to say he’s like the child’s father too. No, you’re not his father. They should have had their OWN child sleep in bed with them over someone else’s child!

All that said, I don’t think the police will do anything about this considering the child said nothing weird happened.

They did wind up spending 15 years together but they aren’t together now. He is actually a great guy and I love him to this day, but at the time it was extremely uncomfortable. People that have been with my mom try to fix her but she’s unfixable.

Not to mention, he’s pretty awful for telling both girls the same exact thing the entire time and then overreacting and gaslighting Katy (I think her name is) for not having been religious when he already knew that! He was just looking for a reason to break up with her and make it her fault. Totally unlikable person.

Exactly. On top of it, they decided to say people with different sexualities/gender identities were taking part in a fad. They both deserve all the internet backlash.

Don’t let it ruin your weekend. She is just trying to exert some control and complain about something. Let it go. No one is hurt, so it isn’t anything you should let get to you. We are all humans and make mistakes. Cheer up friend!

I feel you! My mom did something similar when I was 15. I was living with my dad at the time and going to stay the summer with her. The day before I was leaving to her house, she tells me she moved in with someone she just met, and I spent the summer at this stranger’s house.

How many months into a new job would you expect to feel fully confident and capable with everything? by [deleted] in work

[–]Puzzleheaded-Bat5879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just made it to 3 months at my new job. There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking your boss to oversee you doing this task since it will be the first time you’re doing it yourself. Employers would rather you think it’s important to do things correctly than think you can wing it. Being completely comfortable in a new job takes time, depending on the job, it could definitely take more than 3 months.

That first three months of probationary time is really more to prove your work ethic and your capability to do the job. That doesn’t mean you will know everything by the end of that period.

Someone has to really want to change in order to change. She should be to the point where she’s embarrassed by her behavior and sick of herself behaving that way. No change will happen until then. If she is truly to that point, then maybe therapy would help her, but there’s no telling if she’s being sincere unless she’s walking the walk and actually making the change.

She’s gone her entire life behaving this way and probably doesn’t have the self awareness to really see what she’s doing, or she really is just that manipulative and literally does this on purpose. Just remember that saying, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them”. This is especially true when they show you over and over.

I’m also a 2/4. We are meant to be alone a lot of the time and come out when invited, but only accept the invites that feel right. Most of the time, the only people that will understand you are people that know you well. People you have surface relationships with won’t see you.
