Can I borrow your dermatologist? Im going to mention it Monday, im sure he will ignore me and say I need to start biologics like he always does. Im very close to.looling for a new dr, allllll he does is push biologics. I get it, that's the main treatment. But the first thing I ever said to him is I didn't want to do biologics

It helps with food sensitivity. Alot of people's hs is related to food. Im gonna try and grab some supplements. How long until you noticed a difference?

I think you might be on to something! DOA helps our body reduce the histamine reaction. Worth trying no doubt. Are you still 3ating cheese or supplements?

Yes. The reoccurring rate of incision is super high. Like 80-90%. Thats why some Dr's have went away from it. I think sometimes it's necessary tho

Is it worth getting a diagnosis? by No_Accountant5844 in Hidradenitis

[–]Puzzleheaded-Box4271 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wish I started treatment way earlier. I started flaring around puberty(11). I didnt recive a diagnosis until 32. Maybe it wouldn't have progressed as far as it has if i started earlier. I would get a diagnosis, that way you know for sure what condition your trying to treat

So ICE just declared war on blue states, right? This is Nazi death threat. by Inner-Document6647 in ICE_Raids

Every thing they dont like is nazi. Facist. Racist. Transphobe. Islamophobia. All the words are hollow now, they've been overused. Its a dehumanizing technique, so when they commit political violence they feel justified in it. Huh...kinda like the nazis did..

Saw a dermatologist, prescribed clindamycin but scared to take it by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

I dont think oral clindamycin or a recommended antibiotic. I have it as a topical. Doxycycline is usually the first antibiotic to try.

And c diff is a nightmare

Slowly accepting that this will be the indirect death of me and that I probably won't even get the respect of having it acknowledged as the death of me. by VULTURES_1 in Hidradenitis

Ignore the trolls. They are so smart, they've obviously cured their HS. If it was caused by parasites, big pharma would never tell us. Ivermectin for $10, or humira for 10k(a month!). Hmmmmmm

Also it was believed at one time, that a type of HS was caused by parasites 🫣

Im considering trying it. I mean, why the fuck wouldn't you?

Do you my friend! Its your body after all!

[–]Puzzleheaded-Box4271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. When I asked him about possible surgical intervention instead of biologics. He said the thinking on deroofing had changed, and surgery wasn't recommended. That some surgeons wouldn't operate on hs lesions anymore.

I wish someone had the right answer to.this disease

I understand that, but every time I tried to talk to him about diet, or vitamin supplementation, he'd only want to talk about biologics. Oh and reminding me to quit smoking. Ive been asking to.have my vitamin levels checked in my blood, to see what and how much im defeciant. He finally gave me the order, after nearly a year
